Choosing Vanity Lights

Mount above-mirror lights around 75–80cm above the basin, or side lights at roughly eye level (about 1.6m) for even, shadow-free coverage. Around make-up areas a colour temperature of 3000K–4000K renders skin tones naturally. Because bathrooms are wet areas, check the fitting's IP rating against its position — IP44 is the minimum for splash zones. LED options run cool, use less power and last for years.
