I went back 23/8/26 to this Family owned store which has been great to me when i first renovated 20 years ago i bought my downlights from them and now i am updating the second generation is now in store and Simon was wonderful Polite knowledgeable and a great help. Even though i have not put the new lights in i know this family business will not lead me a stray and i have full confidence that the light will be fine for the next owner of my house. The lamp and shade were well packed. As I was removing the lamp I heard something drop on the bottom of the box. When I had fully removed the lamp there was a small piece of glass on the bottom of the box. I superglued the piece back on. I was very impressed with the quality of the lamp and shade.
The lamp was no longer available in the colour I ordered but I was able to have it swapped for a white one. It arrived quickly and I'm very happy with it.
Very happy with the purchase of this lamp for a use case to replace down lights in the lounge. Fitted with hue white ambient lights, I know have great working lighting solution with home assistant control. Can confirm that the lamp heads can rotate 360 degrees to face the ceiling with tilt adjustments. Just note that if you are tall, the height of the lamp may mean light might be hitting directly to your eyes, just check the measurements.

Managed to find a mini downlight for my specific use. The size worked out great - 38mm cutout, to sit inside a tight curved arch. Also allowing an mini transformer to fit through the 38mm hole - plug didn’t though. I fed another plug and lead that was longer from the other direction.

I have nothing but praise for the team at the Ashfield store, having navigated all avenues of service with them. I had my eye on a particular light for a kitchen island which was becoming difficult to obtain. Nick had me come into the store to view a similar model (same style just a different shape) which confirmed it was even better in person. As stock was on backorder for my particular model Nick advised I order it online which, with the timing, I managed to get on sale, and in the meantime I also found I had other items I needed to order which LightsForYou had the perfect solution for. They kept me updated by phone and email with any delays and also stored my items until they had all arrived and I needed to take them. They even helped carry them out to my car when I arrived to pickup! So end to end stellar service from this store, I would recommend them to anyone for your lighting needs!
