Managed to find a mini downlight for my specific use. The size worked out great - 38mm cutout, to sit inside a tight curved arch. Also allowing an mini transformer to fit through the 38mm hole - plug didn’t though. I fed another plug and lead that was longer from the other direction.

I had my eye on a particular light for a kitchen island which was becoming difficult to obtain. Nick had me come into the store to view a similar model (same style just a different shape) which confirmed it was even better in person. As stock was on backorder for my particular model Nick advised I order it online which, with the timing, I managed to get on sale, and in the meantime I also found I had other items I needed to order which LightsForYou had the perfect solution for. They kept me updated by phone and email with any delays and also stored my items until they had all arrived and I needed to take them. Exactly what I was looking for. Nice and bright and dimmable as well.
These lights are simply exquisite - like jewellery for your house exterior. I believe they're made of coated aluminium and real glass. Manufacturer recommends using an oil like WD40 every few months to keep the perfect brass look so just bear that in mind. Yet to install.

the specs for the EGLO DETECT ME sensor on the web site quote 360 deg microwave sensing range , but on the box it states 180 deg sensor , which when testing is correct . So i was not happy when i discovered it was 180 deg instead of 360 deg. my question is, do they in fact make a 360 deg microwave sensor . I am, although, willing to use the sensor for this application .
1. No notification email to say order had been dispatched which I was informed at time of order would be in 5 days time. When I phoned 11 days later to inquire about order I was told it had not been sent.
2. One of the light fittings was broken.
3. I was given mixed messages about the return process for the broken light. Verbally I was told to send an email with photos of the light, then I received an email saying to send the light fitting back.
4. When I phoned to clarify how to return the broken light the male person who answered the phone did not allow me to finish explaining why I was ringing. His communication style was dismissive and defensive assuming I was wanting to know when my order would arrive when I simply wanted to inquire how I should return it. This was not the first time this person was unprofessional in previous phone calls.
BTW- I’m a really patient understanding person, not a ‘ Karen’ as this may read but I hope for you this was just a ‘ one off ‘ bad experience and well you did ask for feedback.
The electrician had never seen one like it, when installing it in our bathroom renovation. So easy to use and it is so efficient. Best purchase ever!!!!!
These were highly recommended as a bedroom fan. Whilst they are very quiet, the emit a beep with every light dimming or fan speed adjustment which is incredibly unnecessary and annoying. The quality of the led feels like public toilet lighting even on the warm setting. I hate them.
