How to Choose the Right Pendant Light

What size pendant do I need? Over a kitchen island, allow around 300mm between each pendant and 700–850mm above the bench. For a dining table, a single larger pendant or a row of smaller ones works well.

What globe do pendants use? Most take an E27 or B22 globe — shop compatible LED globes to match your colour temperature.

Can I install a pendant myself? In Australia, hard-wired pendants must be installed by a licensed electrician; plug-in styles are DIY-friendly.
