Vilma Table Lamp Black, White VILMA TL

The Vilma is a 690 mm ceramic table lamp with a hand-applied gold finish and a gold-lined drum shade, in black or white.

Gold inside the shade, not just on the base

The shade is lined in gold, so the light reflecting down onto the table is warmed before it ever leaves the lamp. That gives a noticeably richer pool than a white-lined shade with the same globe — and it is the detail that ties the shade to the gilded base.

Hand applied, so no two are identical

The gold is applied by hand over the glaze. Slight variation in the finish is expected — the supplier says so and we would rather you heard it here than were surprised. On a decorative ceramic lamp that variation is the character, not a fault.

A classic shape, not a fashionable one

The Vilma is a traditional swelling ceramic form. It sits comfortably in a formal room, and it carries gold without looking novelty, which a more angular shape would struggle to do.

Sized for a console

690 mm tall with a 380 mm shade. This is a substantial lamp — it wants a console, a sideboard or a generous side table, and it will be the dominant object on it.

E27 to 25 W, not supplied

Choose a warm globe. A gold-lined shade under a cool 5000 K globe reads green — the same trap as the Akron.

690 mm tall, 380 mm wide, cable 1,800 mm, in ceramic, iron and fabric with a black PVC cable. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. Lead and plug fitted, assembly required. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. RCM approved. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
