Gaston 2 Pendant Light

The Gaston 2Lt is a 210 mm two-light pendant with interchangeable glass shades — two bases × six shades, twelve combinations — taking G9 globes.

You choose the glass, and you can change it later

Like the Felton and the Varon, the Gaston is built around swappable shades. Six are stocked:

• Opal Matt — milky, fully diffused, the softest and least glary.
• Smoke and Smoke Tear — grey, moody, contemporary.
• Frost Tear — frosted with a teardrop profile.
• Clear Prism — faceted, the sparkliest.
• Amber Tear — warm, golden, most traditional.

On antique gold or black, polished.

The shades match the Felton and Varon ranges

Genuinely useful when specifying a whole house: the same six glass options run across the Gaston pendants, the Felton pendants and wall lights, and the Varon travertine wall lights. Pick one glass and carry it through every room, in three completely different fittings.

Small, and meant to be repeated

210 mm across with 120 mm shades, at 0.75 kg. Light and compact — two or three in a row over an island rather than one over a table.

Two G9 globes at 6 W each — 12 W total

G9 is a small capsule base, not a screw fitting — check what you are buying. A modern 6 W LED capsule gives around 350 lm, so the pair delivers roughly 700 lm. Not supplied, and with clear or prism shades they are visible, so buy both together.

It does dim, with the right globes

Dimming is globe dependent. Our record says it does not dim; the datasheet and the old page both say globe dependent, and on a fitting with no globes supplied the globe decides.

210 mm wide, shades 120 mm, canopy ø120 × 25 mm, suspension 2,000 mm, 0.75 kg, in glass and iron, polished. Two G9 globes at 6 W each — 12 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
