Product Description
xThe Domus BL-100-1M-KIT is the complete three-tier bollard — head and a 1 metre post, 1,168 mm overall, in die-cast aluminium, IP44, taking one E27 globe, in beige, black, silver, green or white.
✅ This is the one that stands up on its own. Our listing calls it a “bollard head”, which undersells it: the datasheet says “tiered conical helmet bollard head and 76 mm post”, and the product code is BL-100-1M-KIT. You are buying both parts.
⚠ The globe is still separate — it takes one E27, not supplied. And if you want a taller run, or you already have posts, ask us for the head on its own.
What you get, and what you still need

Why 1,168 mm is the right height for a path
Bollard height is not arbitrary. At roughly waist height:
- The light source sits below eye level, so you are never looking into it.
- The pool of light lands wide enough to be useful — a lower bollard lights a tight circle, a taller one starts to glare.
- It is tall enough to be seen as a marker from down the path, which is half the job at night.
Space them 3–4 m apart and the pools meet into a continuous run.
The three tiers, and the globe you put in
Each tier shields the globe from the angle above it, throwing light downward and outward in bands instead of glaring. That only works if the globe suits it:
- Opal or frosted, not clear filament — a clear globe stays visible through the tier gaps.
- Warm 2700–3000 K — cool white in a garden reads as a car park.
- About 800–1,000 lm. Brighter and the tiers stop hiding the source.
- ⚠ Enclosed-fixture and outdoor rated. An unrated LED runs hot in a sealed head and fails early.
IP44 — splashing water from any direction. Rain, sprinklers and hosing the path are fine. ⚠ Not for pooling water or submersion: keep it out of beds that hold water and off the low point of a driveway. When you relamp, seat the seal properly — careless relamping is how bollards let water in.
⚠ Warranty is one year, shorter than most of this catalogue. 240 V mains, so a licensed electrician and a circuit run out to it — budget the trenching.

Does this include the post?
Yes — this is the complete kit. Our listing calls it a "bollard head", which undersells it: the product code is BL-100-1M-KIT and the datasheet says "bollard head and 76 mm post". You get both, 1,168 mm overall. Only the globe is separate.
What is the difference between this and the "Three Tier Bollard"?
That one is the head only, to suit a 76 mm post you supply. This one is the head plus a 1-metre post. The names read the other way round from what the products actually are, which is worth knowing before you order.
Does it come with a globe?
No. One E27, not supplied. Choose warm 2700–3000 K, opal rather than clear filament, around 800–1,000 lumens, and check it is rated for enclosed and outdoor use.
How far apart should I space them?
3 to 4 metres. Each puts a pool of roughly 2 to 3 metres around its base, so at that spacing the pools meet into a continuous run rather than reading as separate dots.
Why is a bollard this height?
At roughly waist height the source sits below eye level so you never look into it, the pool lands wide enough to be useful, and it is still tall enough to read as a marker from down the path. Lower bollards light a tight circle; taller ones start to glare.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
