The Stor is a surface-mounted bunker light — the flat, robust wall fitting used on garages, side passages, stairwells, plant rooms and the back of commercial buildings, where the job is reliable light on a surface rather than decoration. At 30W it is at the working end of that category, rated up to 2400lm, which is enough to light a driveway apron or a service corridor rather than merely mark it.
The body is aluminium with a polycarbonate diffuser and carries an IP54 rating, so it is protected against dust and splashing water from any direction. IP54 is a sheltered-exterior rating rather than a hose-down one: an eave, a soffit, a garage wall or a covered walkway suits it, while a fully exposed wall taking driven rain calls for a higher IP.
The Stor is tri-colour, so the colour temperature is selected on the fitting at installation rather than fixed when it is manufactured: 3000K, 4000K or 5500K. Output follows that selection at 2250lm, 2325lm and 2400lm. Colour rendering is rated at 80 CRI or better, and the beam is a wide 120°, which is what makes a single bunker light cover a whole doorway or landing rather than producing a bright patch under itself.
For a utility fitting the colder settings usually earn their place: 5500K reads as brighter for the same output and suits a garage or workshop, while 3000K keeps a covered entry looking domestic. The fitting is not dimmable, so it is designed for a switch, a sensor or a timer.
The Stor runs on 240V AC mains and needs no driver, so it is a straightforward mains connection for a licensed electrician. The LED is built into the fitting — there is no lamp base, no globe to buy with it and nothing to replace later, which is the point of a fitting mounted where a ladder is needed to reach it.
This listing is the plain-faced Stor in black. The same range includes a version with an eyelid shroud, which shields the upper part of the output and throws the light downward — worth considering where the fitting sits near a bedroom window or where a neighbour looks onto the wall.
It is rated IP54, which covers dust and splashing water. That suits sheltered exterior positions such as under an eave or in a covered walkway. A wall taking driven rain head-on calls for a higher IP rating.
No. It runs directly on 240V AC mains.
No. The 30W LED is built into the fitting, so there is no lamp base and no globe.
No. The Stor is not a dimmable fitting and is intended to run at full output.
It is selected on the fitting during installation — 3000K, 4000K or 5500K — so it is worth deciding before the fitting goes on the wall.
