The Domus MAX-50 Linear Pendant is a suspended aluminium profile luminaire in three fixed lengths — 1.2 m, 1.7 m and 2.4 m — with Osram LED boards, 3000 K or 4000 K, in anodised aluminium, black or white. 3-year warranty.
Domus builds this to order and asks for up to 10 business days for production before it ships. ⚠ Order a run together — the finish is applied to order.
| Length | Sheet figure | ÷ length | The range's actual W/m |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.2 m | 20.8 W | ✅ 17.33 W/m | 17.3 W/m |
| 1.7 m | 31.2 W | ⚠ 18.35 W/m | 17.3 W/m |
| 2.4 m | 41.6 W | ✅ 17.33 W/m | 17.3 W/m |
dimmable = No. ⭐ And the profile
products in the range sell DALI, 0–10 V and TUNABLE/DALI variants.
The datasheet lists high-output LED boards and integrated emergency as available on request. ⛔ Neither appears as a variant. ⭐ On a commercial job the emergency option is the one worth asking about, because retrofitting emergency into a suspended linear run afterwards means a second product alongside it.
Suspended LED linear pendant. 1.2 m, 1.7 m or 2.4 m. 20.8 W / 31.2 W / 41.6 W TOTAL. 2,960–6,240 lm. 3000 K or 4000 K. CRI ≥80. 120°. IP20. Extruded 6063 aluminium, clear anodised, black or white. Flat opal-frost PMMA diffuser. Osram LED boards. 50,000 hrs. ✅ 3-year warranty. ⛔ Made to order — allow up to 10 business days. ⛔ THE DATASHEET LABELS THE WATTAGES "PER METRE" AND THEY ARE TOTALS — 20.8 ÷ 1.2m = 17.3 W/m, matching the rest of the range. Size on the totals. ⚠ The 1.7M works out at 1.80m on the range's own W/m. ⛔ Recorded as not dimmable; DALI and 0-10V exist elsewhere in the MAX range but not on this listing.

41.6W. The datasheet labels its figures "Power per metre (W): 20.8W 31.2W 41.6W", and they are totals — 20.8 ÷ 1.2m gives 17.33 W/m and 41.6 ÷ 2.4m gives 17.33, exactly the 17.3 W/m every other MAX-50 product records. The product record confirms it, holding 20.76W for the 1.2m. Read as written, a 2.4m pendant would be sized at 2.4 × 41.6 = 100W, two and a half times its real draw — on a run of six that is 600W of imagined load against 250.
Probably closer to 1.8m. Its 31.2W divides to 18.35 W/m rather than the range's 17.3, and at 17.3 W/m a 31.2W fitting would be 1.80m. The 1.2m and 2.4m figures divide exactly, so the arithmetic is consistent everywhere else. That suggests the middle length is nominal rather than exact. If 100mm matters — in a ceiling grid, between structure, or against a table edge — ask us and we will confirm the manufactured length with Domus.
Roughly two-thirds the table length looks right and lights it evenly. So the 1.2m suits about a 1.8m table, the 1.7m suits 2.5m, and the 2.4m suits 3.6m. If your table falls between those, the per-metre MAX-50 Down Pendant is cut to your run and solves it exactly — this listing exists for the convenience of a finished pendant with no cutting, no end caps to order and no site assembly.
Simplicity. You get a complete, finished pendant rather than a profile system to specify, cut and cap. That removes several ways an order can go wrong and several site tasks. What you give up is exactness: you get whatever length is nearest. Over a 2.4m boardroom table this is exactly right; over a 3m island it is not, and the per-metre version is the answer.
Not on this listing, which offers only 3000K and 4000K in three finishes and records dimmable as No. Worth knowing that the per-metre MAX-50 pendants do carry DALI, 0–10V and even TUNABLE/DALI variants — so the platform supports dimming, it is just not offered at these fixed lengths. Every MAX listing records dimmable as No regardless, because a single yes/no field cannot express "depends which variant you buy". Tell us if you need dimming at a fixed length and we will ask Domus.
About 150 lumens per watt, which is high — most fittings in this catalogue sit between 60 and 100. The named Osram LED boards are part of why, and a named board brand is unusual here: it means the light engine is a specified component rather than an anonymous one, which matters for colour consistency across a run of pendants and for replacement years later. CRI is ≥80, which is adequate for offices and boardrooms rather than exceptional.
Not as a variant, but the datasheet lists integrated emergency and high-output LED boards as available on request. On a commercial job the emergency option is the one worth asking about early, because retrofitting emergency into a suspended linear run afterwards means installing a second product alongside it — which is both visible and awkward. Tell us at quotation stage and we will get it priced with Domus.
