The Domus CHAM-DIM-DMX is a four-channel DMX interface for RGB, RGBW and single-colour constant-voltage LED, 12–24 V DC, handling 96 W at 12 V or 192 W at 24 V. 180 × 60 × 34 mm.
⛔ The datasheet attached to this product is for a DALI device, not a DMX one — so we are not quoting its control figures.
DMX and DALI are different protocols. They use different wiring, different addressing and different signal levels, and a figure that is correct for one is meaningless for the other. The document behind this listing is the CHAM-DIM-DALI-4C's, and its parts list contains that product's code rather than this one — we caught it by checking the sheet's item numbers against this product's SKU.
So the DALI signal voltages, the bus current, the addressing behaviour and the dimming range on that sheet have all been withheld rather than transferred to a DMX device. Ask us and we will get the correct datasheet from Domus.
| Supply | Maximum load |

| 12 V DC | 96 W |
| 24 V DC | 192 W |
CHAM-DIM-DMX four-channel DMX interface. 180 × 60 × 34 mm. 12–24 V DC constant voltage. Maximum load 96 W at 12 V, 192 W at 24 V. Four channels — single colour (up to four zones), tunable white, RGB or RGBW.
⛔ The datasheet attached to this product is the DALI 4-channel interface's, and DMX and DALI are different protocols. Its signal voltages, bus current, addressing behaviour and dimming range have been withheld rather than transferred. Ask us and we will get the correct document from Domus.
⛔ A constant-voltage LED driver is required upstream and is not included; the LED strip is separate; and a DMX controller or desk is required to originate the signal. Warranty 3 years.

Because the datasheet attached to this product is for a DALI device and this is a DMX one. DMX and DALI are different protocols with different wiring, addressing and signal levels, so a figure correct for one is meaningless for the other. We caught it by checking the sheet's item numbers against this product's SKU. Rather than transfer the DALI signal voltages, bus current and dimming range onto a DMX device, we have withheld them. Ask us and we will get the correct document from Domus.
DMX where the lighting performs — a facade that changes colour, a bar, a venue, a studio, a display — because it is built for fast, synchronised colour change across many fixtures. DALI where the lighting works — an office, a hotel corridor, a hospital — because it is a building-management protocol optimised for reliable levels and reporting rather than chases and fades. They are not interchangeable, and the interface has to match the system.
No, despite the category. It is an interface: it receives the DMX signal and switches the channels, sitting between a constant-voltage driver and the LED strip. It also does not generate the signal — a DMX installation needs a controller or desk as well. So the full chain is controller, driver, interface, strip, and only the interface is on this page.
96 W at 12 V or 192 W at 24 V. It is current-limited rather than power-limited, so at twice the voltage it carries twice the power for the same current — which matters more than usual on a colour installation, because RGBW strip draws across four channels and the runs tend to be long. Tell us the strip and the run and we will check the load and size the driver together.
A dedicated white channel. RGB makes white by mixing red, green and blue, which gives a colour cast; RGBW adds a fourth channel with a proper white LED. On a facade or a bar that spends part of its evening on plain white, that difference is clearly visible. This interface has four channels, so it handles either.
Yes — it will run up to four separate single-colour zones from one unit. But if the installation is genuinely single colour and there is no DMX system involved, the CHAM-DIM-DALI-1C is the simpler and cheaper answer, and it dims from an ordinary retractive wall switch with no control system at all.
Somewhere dry and accessible — a ceiling void, a joinery cavity or a control cabinet. Accessibility matters more than usual on a DMX installation, because addressing and troubleshooting happen at the device rather than from a wall plate. Do not bury it behind sealed joinery.

| Type | ⚠ Four-channel DMX interface — NOT a driver, and NOT a DMX controller |
| Protocol | DMX — ⛔ not interchangeable with DALI |
| Datasheet | ⛔ The attached sheet is the DALI 4-channel interface's — a different protocol |
| Control figures | ⛔ Withheld — signal levels, bus current, addressing and dimming range not transferred |
