Product Description
xThe Zofio is an oil-bronze aluminium pendant with clear crystal beads, in two versions that are genuinely different objects — taking E27 globes to 25 W each, not supplied.
⚠ The two options on this page are not two sizes of the same fitting. Read the shapes before you choose.

The four-light is 900 mm tall — nearly a metre — and narrower. The five-light is half that height and wider. Adding a light makes the fitting shorter and broader, which is the opposite of what anyone would assume, and nothing on the page said so.
So choose on the room, not the light count:
- The four-light (900 mm tall) suits a stairwell, an entry void or a double-height space, where it hangs as a column of crystal and is seen from the side as well as below. Over an ordinary dining table it will hang into the sightline.
- The five-light (550 mm tall, 560 wide) is the dining-table fitting — broad enough to spread across a table, shallow enough to stay above the line between people sitting opposite.
Crystal beads on oil bronze — and why that pairing is unusual
Most crystal fittings in this catalogue are chrome or gold: bright metals that reflect the crystal and amplify the sparkle. The Zofio uses oil bronze — a dark, warm, low-sheen finish — and that changes the character completely:
- The frame recedes into shadow, so the crystal is what you see, suspended against something dark rather than bright.
- The effect is warmer and more restrained than a chrome crystal fitting: it reads as traditional or transitional rather than glamorous.
- It sits with timber, leather, dark joinery and warm paint in a way polished chrome does not.
Crystal beads — strung rather than cut plates — also behave differently: they give many small points of refraction instead of a few large ones, so the fitting shimmers rather than flashing, and it moves a little in a draught.
Four or five E27 globes — and on crystal the globe decides everything
E27 to 25 W each — 100 W total on the four-light, 125 W on the five, not supplied. With LED filaments at 4 to 6 W the real draw is around 20–30 W.
This is the decision that determines whether the crystal does anything, and no source mentioned it:
- Use CLEAR globes with a visible filament. Crystal refracts a point source into sparkle. Against beads, a bright compact filament produces the shimmer the fitting is built for.
- A frosted or opal globe kills it. A soft even glow has no point to refract, and the beads go flat and grey.
- Warm 2700 K. Against oil bronze, cool white reads green and turns a warm dark metal muddy.
- Buy all four (or five) together, same brand — through crystal a colour mismatch is multiplied, not hidden.

It dims, with the right globes. The datasheet says globe dependent and our record carried no dimming value at all.
On a beaded crystal fitting, dimming is the effect. At full, four or five E27s light the room and the shimmer competes with everything else. Low, the room falls back and the beads become the only thing you see — which is the reason to own crystal at all.
⚠ No weight is recorded for either version, and crystal is dense — a beaded fitting weighs considerably more than its frame suggests, and the 900 mm four-light in particular will be substantial. On a suspended fitting the mount takes movement as well as dead weight. Ask us before the fixing is chosen.

Questions
Are the two options just different sizes?
No — they are genuinely different objects, and nothing on the page said so. The four-light is 440 mm wide and 900 mm tall: a column. The five-light is 560 mm wide and 550 tall: broad and low. Adding a light makes the fitting shorter and wider, which is the opposite of what anyone would assume.
Which one suits a dining table?
The five-light. At 550 mm tall and 560 wide it is broad enough to spread across a table and shallow enough to stay above the sightline between people sitting opposite. The 900 mm four-light would hang into that line — it belongs in a stairwell, entry void or double-height space.
What globes should I use?
Clear ones with a visible filament, warm 2700 K, all four or five the same brand. Crystal refracts a point source into sparkle, and against beads a bright compact filament produces the shimmer the fitting is built for; a frosted or opal globe has no point to refract and the beads go flat and grey. Against oil bronze, cool white reads green.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
