ZAFRA 3 TIER PENDANT BLACK SAND/CRYSTAL

The Zafra PE3T is a three-tier crystal pendant in black sand — 80 W giving 2,560 lm — with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K.

Three tiers need a void

Tiered pendants stack rings of light at different heights, so you see light behind light and each tier’s crystal catches the one above. That effect only exists if there is height for it: a stairwell, a double-height entry, a high-ceilinged dining room. On a standard 2,400 mm ceiling, buy the Zafra CTC instead — same crystal, same colour switching, designed to sit close.

2,560 lumens — the brightest of the Zafra family

More than the two-tier and roughly twice the CTC’s 1,270 lm. Even so, this is not a room’s working light: crystal absorbs and scatters on purpose, which is what produces the sparkle. Plan other light in the space and let this be the centrepiece.

Black sand and crystal

Black sand is matte and faintly textured, so the frame recedes and the crystal reads as points of light. A chrome frame would compete; a black one does not. In a stairwell, seen from below and from the landing, that is what makes a tiered fitting look deliberate rather than heavy.

Three colour temperatures

3000 K warm, 4000 K natural, 5000 K cool, switchable at the fitting. On crystal the difference is dramatic — warm glows amber, cool sparkles white — and you can change it later.
