Westin Vintage Outdoor Wall Light

The Westin is a 525 mm vintage outdoor lantern — a scroll arm carrying a neo-classical head — in flat black powder coat with acid frost glass, rated IP44.

The scroll arm is what dates it, deliberately

The head hangs from a curved scroll rather than sitting on a flat backplate. That single detail is what makes it read as a traditional lantern rather than a modern box, and it is why it suits a period frontage, a grand entry or a wide porch where a plain rectangle would look mean.

Acid frost glass, not clear

Acid frosting is etched into the glass rather than applied to it, so it will not wear off or discolour outdoors the way a coating can. It diffuses evenly, which means no bare globe glaring at you as you climb the steps — and it makes the globe choice much less critical.

525 mm is a substantial lantern

Taller than most exterior wall lights, at 205 mm wide. It wants a wide wall — beside a double entry, a wide porch, or a garage. On a narrow architrave it will be overbearing; the Reese or Perova suit a tighter space.

E27 to 25 W, not supplied

An ordinary replaceable globe. Because the glass is frosted, a plain warm LED works perfectly well here — you are not paying for a filament nobody can see.
