Product Description
xThe Walton is a 385 mm exterior wall lantern in black with clear glass, taking a globe up to 60 W, rated IP44.
IP44 is splash resistance, not waterproofing. An earlier version of this page said it "ensures waterproofing" — it does not. IP44 handles rain and splashing on a wall with some shelter. It is not rated for direct hosing, a fully exposed position, or coastal salt spray.
A 60 W ceiling, which is rare outdoors
Most exterior wall lights cap at 25 W. The Walton allows 60 W, so it can be made genuinely bright — useful at a front door you want lit properly rather than merely marked. With an LED globe, 60 W of headroom is a lot of light.
Clear glass, so the globe is the look
The glass hides nothing. Fit a decorative filament E27 and the lantern reads as traditional and considered; fit a bare frosted globe and it looks unfinished. On a fitting beside a front door, that choice is worth more than it costs.
A 250 mm projection — check your clearance
It stands 250 mm off the wall on a 180 × 125 mm backplate. That is substantial: beside a narrow door or along a path where people pass close, measure before committing.

Specifying it
385 mm high, 205 mm wide, 250 mm projection, backplate 180 × 125 × 30 mm, black with clear glass. One E27 globe to 60 W, not supplied. 240 V, IP44 — rain and splash only. Warranty is one year, shorter than the three years most of the range carries.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. For a fully exposed or coastal position, ask us about an IP65 fitting — and for solid brass rather than painted metal, look at the Cantena or Perova.
Questions
Is it waterproof?
No. It is IP44 — splash resistant. An earlier version of this page said it ensured waterproofing, which was wrong and could have led someone to mount it somewhere it would fail.
How bright can it go?
Up to 60 W, which is unusually generous for an exterior wall light — most cap at 25 W.
What globe should I fit?
A decorative filament E27. The glass is clear, so the globe is visible and is part of the design.
How far does it stick out?
250 mm, on a 180 × 125 mm backplate. Measure your clearance beside a narrow door or path.
Can it be hosed or used near the coast?
No. Ask us about an IP65 fitting for exposed positions, or the solid-brass Cantena and Perova.
Is a globe included?
No.
What is the warranty?
One year — shorter than most of the Telbix catalogue.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
