Product Description
xThe Virell PE6 is a 400 mm six-light crystal pendant in chrome or gold — six E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, 300 mm high on a 2,000 mm suspension.
⚠ The globe choice decides whether the crystal works at all — and no source said a word about it. This is the one thing to get right:
- Use CLEAR globes with a small, bright filament. Crystal refracts a point source into sparkle. A clear candle or golf-ball LED filament in each holder is what makes the crystal do anything.
- A frosted or opal globe kills it. A large soft glow has no point to refract, so the crystal goes flat and grey and you have paid for detailing you cannot see.
- Warm 2700 K. Against chrome, cool white looks clinical; against gold, it reads green.
- Buy all six together, same brand. Across six sparkle points a colour mismatch is multiplied, not hidden.

The two share exactly the same height and differ only in diameter and light count — a clean, honest range, which is worth saying because several ranges in this catalogue are not.
At 400 mm the six suits a dining table, a living room or an entry as a centrepiece; the 260 mm three is the one for a smaller table, a bedroom or a hallway end.
Six globes, 150 watts of capacity
Six E14 to 25 W each — 150 W total, not supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES — a candle or golf-ball globe. (Our record carried no globe base at all; it exists only on the page and in the datasheet.)
With LED filaments at 4 to 6 W the real draw is about 30 W — a fifth of the rating — so the fitting runs cool and sits well inside its limit.
It dims, with the right globes. Our record says “No”; the datasheet and our own page both say globe dependent, and they are right — nothing in a fitting holding six E14s prevents it.
On crystal, dimming is the effect. At full, six sources light the room and the sparkle competes with everything else. Low, the room falls back and the refractions become the only thing you see — which is the reason to own a crystal fitting. ⚠ Six LEDs on one dimmer wants a matched set — ask us.
Chrome or gold
- Chrome — cool and reflective. The frame disappears against a light ceiling and the crystal carries the fitting. Right in a contemporary room, and the more restrained of the two.
- Gold — warm, and it reads as part of the statement rather than vanishing. More formal, and it sits with brass hardware, timber and warm paint.
Both sit on the same iron and stainless steel frame, so the difference is entirely one of how much you want to see the fitting against how much you want to see the crystal.
⚠ No weight is recorded for a six-light crystal pendant, and crystal is dense — a crystal fitting weighs considerably more than its size suggests. On a two-metre suspension the mount takes movement as well as dead weight. Ask us before the fixing is chosen.

Part of a range
Virell is made as three, six and nine-light pendants and a twin wall light, all sharing the crystal detailing — so a dining room can carry the pendant with Virell wall lights along the hallway, which is how a crystal scheme is normally built.

Questions
What globes should I use?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
