The Domus VIENNA 2LT postlight is a twin-head exterior post — 2,350 mm high, 600 × 650 mm footprint, 240 V, in beige, black, burgundy, green or white.
⭐ Two lamps are needed and neither is included. ⭐⭐ ON A TWIN-HEAD POST MATCHING THEM IS NOT OPTIONAL: the lanterns are 650 mm apart and seen together, so any difference in colour temperature or brightness is unmissable. ⭐ Buy them as a pair from the same batch and replace them as a pair — a single replacement three years in will not match its neighbour. ⭐ Opal rather than clear, so the lantern reads as a glowing object from a distance rather than a bright point. ⭐ And warm rather than cool: on a garden post, cool white reads as institutional.
⭐ The sheet notes “Requires: Lamp GT-671 Wall Bracket Straight Arm Facing Up”. ⭐ That is the accessory reference for the wall-mounted arrangement of the same lantern rather than something this post needs. ⭐ The VIENNA head, like the TURIN, serves several arrangements — ⭐ so a property can use posts on the drive and brackets at the door and have them read as one scheme. ⭐ Tell us the arrangement you want and we will confirm which parts it takes.
Allow up to 10 business days for production. ⭐ Published, which is unusual in this catalogue — five colours in a made-to-order range means the finish is applied to your order.

Twin-head exterior postlight. 2,350 mm high, 600 × 650 mm footprint. Two lamps required, neither included. 220–240 V. Five colours. Made to order, up to 10 business days. 1-year warranty. ⛔⛔ ITS TITLE SAYS B22 AND ITS RECORD SAYS E27 — physically different lamp holders, where a lamp for one will not fit the other. Its 3LT sibling, the same lantern on the same post, says B22 in both. Of 87 products in this catalogue naming exactly one base in both places, 85 agree and 2 do not; this is one. ⭐ WE HAVE NOT PUBLISHED A BASE. The title, the sibling and the family convention all point to B22, but we will not state it as fact when the product's own record disagrees. ASK US AND WE WILL CONFIRM BEFORE YOU ORDER LAMPS — the wrong one is discovered at the top of a ladder.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
We have not published a base, because its two records disagree. The title says B22, a bayonet cap; the record says E27, an Edison screw. These are physically different lamp holders and a lamp for one will not fit the other.
B22. The title says so, its 3LT sibling — the same lantern on the same post with a third head — says B22 in both places, and the family convention is B22. But we will not state it as fact when the product's own record disagrees. Ask us and we will confirm with Domus before you order lamps; the wrong one is discovered at the top of a ladder, in the dark, with two lamps in a bag.
Both are specific corrections rather than systemic problems, and measuring them carefully mattered. On lamp base: of 87 products naming exactly one base in both title and record, 85 agree and 2 do not — this is one of the two. On IP: a first pass found 18 conflicts in 421, but 11 of those sit on products holding more than one datasheet, where the figure may have come from a sibling's sheet rather than the product's own. Narrowed to single-sheet products, where the conflict is unambiguous, the count is 7 — and this is one of them too.
Its two records disagree there too — the datasheet says IP23 and the record says IP43. The difference is the first digit, the solids rating: IP2X keeps out objects over 12.5mm, which is to say fingers, while IP4X keeps out objects over 1mm, which is to say wires and most insects. Treat it as IP23, the more cautious reading, until confirmed.
It is the difference between a fitting that fills with insects and one that does not — the commonest complaint about garden lanterns, and entirely a solids-ingress question. The water rating is 3 in both readings, spraying water to 60 degrees from vertical, so that half is not in dispute.
The groundwork. Every post means a footing dug and poured, a conduit run and a cable pulled — and on a driveway that often means cutting and reinstating paving. Two heads on one post halves all of it. The trade is spacing: two heads are about 650mm apart where two posts can be metres apart, so a twin suits a driveway entrance or a gateway rather than lighting a long run evenly.
It is not optional. The lanterns are 650mm apart and seen together, so any difference in colour temperature or brightness is unmissable. Buy them as a pair from the same batch and replace them as a pair. Choose opal rather than clear so the lantern reads as a glowing object from a distance, and warm rather than cool — on a garden post, cool white reads as institutional.
