The HV36584T is the long Versa: the same glass-fronted aluminium up-and-down fitting as its HV36583T sibling, at twice the body length and with four 3 W emitters instead of two. Two throw light up the wall and two down it, so instead of a single band above and below you get a broader, more continuous sweep — the version to choose when a wall is wide enough that the compact model would look like a dot on it.
It comes in black or white, poly powder-coated over aluminium, behind a glass diffuser.
Each of the four emitters produces 220 lm at 3000K, 230 lm at 4000K or 240 lm at 5500K, rising as the light cools. Across all four that is roughly 880 to 960 lumens from 12 W total, which is real facade-lighting output rather than an accent glow. It is worth being clear about which number is which, because Havit prints the per-emitter figure and the difference between the two readings is a factor of four.
The beam adjusts from 5° to 120°, set at installation — a narrow blade for grazing brickwork or render, a wide setting for even coverage. It is Triac dimmable, with Havit’s HV9625 300 W LED dial dimmer as the matched control, which matters more on this model than the smaller one: at nearly 1,000 lumens, being able to take it down in the evening is the difference between lighting a wall and floodlighting it.
Glare is held to UGR under 19, low for an exterior fitting and unchanged from the shorter model despite the extra output, with colour consistency at SDCM under 5 and CRI above 80. Colour temperature is selected on the fitting at installation.
It is IP65, so a fully exposed wall is within rating and no eave is required. On salt air we are not going to guess. Havit publishes no installation sheet for the Versa — only a data sheet — and neither it nor the product page states any coastal restriction. Havit’s installation sheets for other aluminium exterior fittings exclude installation within 5 km of salt water, and this body is aluminium, but that figure belongs to those documents rather than to this model, and Havit states the same clause at a different distance elsewhere in its catalogue. We are therefore publishing no distance for it. For an address near the sea, treat the question as open and speak to us first.
It is Protection Class 1 and requires an earth, wiring directly to 240 V mains with no driver. Impact resistance is IK06 and the LED module is rated to 30,000 hours. The longer body uses a different mounting base from the compact model, and Havit gives those dimensions as an unlabelled drawing — so we have not invented figures for them. Check the drawing before drilling, particularly if you are replacing an HV36583T, because the fixings are not in the same places.
Lights For You holds both Versa square sizes and both finishes, and Havit’s cover is a 3 years replacement warranty.
Roughly 880 to 960 lumens depending on the colour temperature selected, from 12 W. Havit publishes the per-emitter figure — 220, 230 or 240 lm — and there are four emitters, so the total is four times the printed number, not the printed number itself.
Body length and emitter count. This model is twice as long with four 3 W emitters; the HV36583T is the compact version with two. The IP65 rating, glass diffuser, adjustable 5–120° beam, Triac dimming and UGR under 19 are identical.
Havit’s documentation does not say, and we will not guess. There is no installation sheet published for the Versa and no coastal statement on the data sheet or product page, although Havit’s sheets for other aluminium exterior fittings exclude installation within 5 km of salt water. Contact us before specifying it for a coastal address.
Yes, Triac dimmable, stated on both the data sheet and Havit’s product page. The HV9625 300 W LED dial dimmer is Havit’s matched control, and dimming is genuinely useful on this model given its output.
Not without re-drilling. The longer body uses a different mounting base, and Havit publishes those dimensions only as a drawing, so check it against the existing fixings before committing to the change.
Yes — it is Protection Class 1. If no earth is available at the wall, the polycarbonate Celes in the same range is Class 2 and does not require one.
No. The four emitters are built-in LED modules rated to 30,000 hours, so there is no globe to change and no lamp to buy.
