The Vallejo PE80 is an 800 mm woven raffia pendant in natural — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
The shade is woven raffia, a natural palm fibre, and it is the entire reason the Vallejo looks the way it does. Our product record listed “Iron” alone.
Because the weave is open rather than solid, light does not simply come out of the top and bottom — it comes through the whole shade, so an 800 mm Vallejo lit becomes a large glowing woven form with a warm, broken, slightly dappled quality that no paper or fabric drum produces.
It also means no two are identical: raffia is hand-woven and the weave varies. On a shade this size, that variation is part of the point.
Four to one — a wide shallow disc rather than a dome. That proportion is what makes it work over a dining table without dominating the room vertically: it spreads outward, not downward, so you can hang it at a normal height and still see across the table.
The description suggests hanging a pair above a kitchen island, and at 800 mm that needs an island of about 2.4 metres to look right.
⚠ It weighs 5.5 kilograms, on a 120 mm canopy. That is heavy for a raffia pendant — the iron frame carrying an 800 mm span is where the weight is — and it hangs from a single small mounting point. The figure appeared nowhere a customer would read it.
This needs a proper structural fixing, not a plasterboard rose — and if you are hanging a pair, that is 11 kg across the ceiling. Tell your electrician before the ceiling is opened.
One E27 to 25 W, not supplied. Through an open weave the globe shows, so:
Dimming depends on the globe. Our record says “No”; the datasheet says globe dependent, and the datasheet is right. Fit a dimmable E27 LED with a wall dimmer — and on a woven shade, dimming is especially good: low, the whole 800 mm becomes a soft lantern. It is Class I — earth required and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only.
800 mm wide by 210 mm high, canopy 120 mm, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, 5.5 kg, in iron and raffia, natural. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.

Less than its width suggests. At 800 mm wide and only 210 mm deep it is a wide shallow disc, so it spreads outward rather than downward — you can hang it at a normal height over a dining table and still see across.
Yes, and the range is designed for it — but at 800 mm each, a pair needs an island of about 2.4 metres to look right.
A warm 2700 K E27, frosted or opal rather than clear. The globe shows through the open weave: cool white through raffia looks wrong, and a clear filament shows as a hot spot. If you are hanging a pair, buy both globes together.

No, and that is the point. Raffia is hand-woven and the weave varies, so no two shades are identical. On a shade this size that variation is part of the appeal.
