The Valerie is a batten fix built from tapering tiers of crystal with stainless steel elements, in chrome or gold.

This is a batten fix, not a chandelier. It mounts flat to an existing batten holder point and sits close to the ceiling — it does not hang on a chain or suspension. Earlier copy on this page described it as a pendant chandelier.

Chandelier looks, batten-fix installation

That contrast is the point. Tiered crystal normally means a hanging fitting, a suitable ceiling height and an electrician. The Valerie gives you the curtained crystal effect on a fitting that screws onto the point where a bare globe currently hangs — DIY mounting, no new wiring.

Gold is soft, chrome is sharp

The gold finish is described as rich and subtle rather than bright — it warms the crystal. Chrome is mirrored and cool, and throws harder reflections. Against clear crystal those two produce noticeably different rooms.

E14, not E27

Note the base: E14 small Edison screw, up to 25 W, not supplied. On a crystal fitting a clear candle globe gives the sparkle; a frosted one produces a soft glow instead.

Small enough for a small room

220 mm across, 200 mm deep. This suits a hallway, a small bedroom, a robe or a powder room — anywhere a bare globe is currently doing the work.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
