Turin Floor Lamp

The Turin FL3 is a 1,650 mm three-light floor lamp in satin iron — three E14 globes at 25 W each, 75 W total, not supplied — in taupe or black.

Three petite shades on a slender frame

120 mm shades, 155 mm deep, spread across 375 mm on a 1,650 mm frame. The shades are deliberately small relative to the height — that is what makes the lamp read as sculptural rather than functional, a set of marks in the air rather than a lamp with a shade on top. Beside a sofa it gives three separate points of light instead of one pool.

E14, not E27 — and the whole Turin range shares it

The smaller candle base is what allows the shades to be 120 mm: an E27 would not fit. Two consequences. Check your globe drawer — E14 is common but not universal, and an E27 will not go in. And one type of globe covers the whole range, because the table lamp, the floor lamp and the five-light pendant all take E14.

Weighted for its shape

4.9 kg on a 250 mm base. A 1.65-metre lamp with three shades spread 375 mm wide is top-heavy by design, and that weight is what keeps it upright. It is solid enough for a walkway, though not in the class of the 7-kilogram Mika.

Taupe or black — one finish, three names

The SKU says KH for khaki, the old copy called it khaki, and the variant you select is taupe. Same finish — a grey-brown that recedes against almost any wall. Black defines the frame as a drawn structure. Both satin.

Dimming depends on the globes

Fit three dimmable E14s and use a plug-in or inline dimmer and it dims — and all three must be dimmable, or the ones that are not will stay at full output. Our record carries no value at all against dimmable; the correct answer is globe dependent.
