TRUMAN 2 LIGHT EXTERIOR WALL LIGHT

The Truman EX2 is a 395 mm two-light exterior wall lantern in white aluminium and glass, IP44, projecting only 120 mm.

Up and down, from a shallow body

Two lights in a 120 mm projection — shallow enough for a walkway, an entry or a garage wall where a deeper lantern would be clipped by a car door or a shoulder. The pair throws one column up the wall and one down, which is the outdoor look most people are actually after: architectural, not floodlit.

IP44 — a covered outdoor fitting

Precisely: protected against splashing water from any direction. Its own datasheet says Outdoor (Covered), and that is the honest reading. An eave, a porch, a covered walkway, a patio — yes. A wall with no shelter, in weather that drives sideways — specify something higher and ask us.

Aluminium, which is the right metal outdoors

It does not rust. On a coastal or high-rainfall site that is worth more than any finish — steel lanterns bleed at the fixings long before the paint fails.

Two globes to 25 W each

50 W total, not supplied. Dimming is whatever the globes will do. Buy both from one batch — on an up-and-down fitting a colour mismatch between the two columns is obvious.

Specifying it

180 mm wide, 395 mm high, 120 mm projection, 2.67 kg, in aluminium and glass with a sand finish. Two globes at 25 W each — 50 W total, not supplied — base to be confirmed; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP44 — covered outdoor use. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty. A single-light Truman is also made, in black as well as white.
