Product Description
xThe Truman EX1 is a 330 mm exterior wall light in aluminium and glass — one E27 globe, IP44 — in black or white.
One light, and a shallower reach than the twin
The two-light Truman is 395 mm tall with 120 mm of projection; this single is 330 mm with 110 mm. Closer to the wall and shorter — so it suits a narrow walkway, a tight pier or a run of several where the twin would be too much. Mix them along one facade and they still read as one family.
E27 — and here all three sources agree
Worth stating. This listing is confirmed E27 by its datasheet, its product record and its specification alike. (On the two-light Truman our sources disagree, and we publish no base there. If you are buying the pair, ask us and we will confirm both.)
Aluminium and glass, so it will not rust
Which outdoors matters more than any finish — steel lanterns bleed at the fixings long before the paint fails. At 1.96 kg it has real substance, more than the polycarbonate fittings in this range. Sand finish.
IP44 — covered positions. Its own specification says Outdoor (Covered): protection against splashing water from any direction. An eave, a porch, a covered walkway. For a fully exposed wall, ask us about the IP65 fittings.
One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied
An ordinary replaceable globe — so you choose the brightness and the colour temperature, and change them later. A sealed-LED exterior light fails as a whole fitting and comes off the wall; this one you re-globe. Dimming is globe dependent.
Contemporary and plain
No ornament — a clean form for a modern facade where the architecture is the feature. Black or white, both in the same sand finish.

What globe does it take?
One E27 up to 25 W, not supplied — and here all three of our sources agree on E27. On the two-light Truman they do not, so we publish no base there; ask us if you are buying the pair.
How does it compare to the two-light?
Shorter and shallower — 330 mm with 110 mm of projection against 395 mm and 120 mm. It suits a narrow walkway or a tight pier, and the two mix along one facade.
Can it go on an exposed wall?
Not on our advice. Its own specification says "Outdoor (Covered)" — IP44 is splash protection. Ask us about the IP65 fittings.
Why is a replaceable globe better outdoors?
A sealed-LED exterior light fails as a whole fitting and comes off the wall. This one you simply re-globe — and you can change the colour temperature whenever you like.
Will it rust?
No, it is aluminium and glass. At 1.96 kg it has more substance than the polycarbonate fittings here.
Can I dim it?
With a dimmable globe, yes.
Can I install it myself?
No. It is Class I, hard-wired and requires an earth.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
