Product Description
xThe Carson is a traditional floor lamp with two independently adjustable heads, 1,500 mm tall in antique brass or nickel. Two aimable heads on one lamp is rare, and it is the whole reason to choose it.
Two heads means two jobs from one plug
Aim one at a book and the other at the wall, and you get task light and ambient light from a single fitting and a single socket. Beside a two-seat sofa, aim one at each end. That is not something a fixed-head floor lamp can do.
Maximum 5 W per GU10. That is a very low ceiling for a GU10 socket and rules out virtually all halogen lamps. Buy LED globes rated at or below 5 W — ample from a directional lamp, and overrunning it cooks the fitting. No globes are supplied.
Replaceable globes, so you choose the beam
Because it takes GU10 lamps rather than an integrated LED, you pick the beam angle and colour temperature — and you can differ them between the two heads. A narrow globe for reading, a wider one for the wall wash.

Specifying it
Height 1,500 mm, 110 mm wide, in brass. Two GU10 globes at 5 W maximum each, not supplied. IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Dimming is globe dependent. Warranty is one year, shorter than most of the range.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Buy both globes together and a spare — two visible heads with mismatched lamps is obvious.

What globes does it take?

Yes, independently — so you can aim one at a book and the other at a wall.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
