Product Description
xThe Thirlo is a 222 mm exterior wall light in aluminium with a glass diffuser — IP44, one E27 globe — in black or white.
Narrow, which is the point
82 mm wide against 222 mm tall — a slim vertical bar rather than a lantern. That suits a narrow pier, a doorway reveal or a run down a facade where a wider fitting crowds the surface. At 0.9 kg it hangs off an ordinary wall box.
Understated on purpose
No ornament, no shape doing work — a clean rectangle with a glass diffuser. In a range full of lanterns and bells, the Thirlo is the one for a contemporary facade where the architecture is the feature and the light should not compete.
A glass diffuser, so it does not glare
The globe is behind glass rather than exposed, which matters at an entry where people walk straight at it. You get an even lit panel rather than a bright point in the eye.
IP44 — covered outdoor areas. Protection against splashing water from any direction. Its own datasheet says Outdoor (Covered Area), and that is the honest reading: an eave, a porch, a covered walkway. For a fully exposed wall, ask us about the IP65 fittings instead.
One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied
An ordinary replaceable globe, so you set the brightness and the colour temperature — and change them later. Dimming is globe dependent: fit a dimmable globe and it will dim. Our record says otherwise and our record is wrong.
Aluminium, so it will not rust
Which matters more outdoors than any finish. 117 mm projection.

Questions
Can I dim it?
Yes, if you fit a dimmable globe — dimming is globe dependent. Our record says "no", and the datasheet and the fitting itself say otherwise.
Can it go on an exposed wall?
No. IP44 covers splashing water; its own datasheet says "Outdoor (Covered Area)". For a fully exposed wall, ask us about the IP65 fittings.
How wide is it?
Only 82 mm, against 222 mm tall — a slim vertical bar that suits a narrow pier or a doorway reveal where a lantern would crowd.
Will it glare at the door?
No. The globe sits behind a glass diffuser, so you get an even lit panel rather than a bright point in the eye.
What globe does it take?
One E27 up to 25 W, not supplied — so you set the brightness and colour temperature, and can change them later.
Will it rust?
No, it is aluminium.
Can I install it myself?
No. It is Class I, hard-wired and requires an earth.

xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
