Terin 24V Exterior Square Wall Light

The Terin SQ is a 110 mm square exterior wall light in black, verde or corten — 24 V, integrated 3 W giving 120 lm at 3000 K, IP65, projecting only 30 mm.

IP65 — and this one really can go on an exposed wall

IP65 is protection against water jets from any direction, and it is a meaningfully higher rating than most exterior fittings in this range carry:

So the Terin goes where the others cannot: an unprotected facade, a garden wall, a fence or pier, a position that takes wind-driven rain or a hose.

30 mm of projection — the shallowest here

It stands 30 mm off the wall. For comparison, the Noral projects 90 mm, the Tifton 120, the Cosca 170.

That makes the Terin usable in positions no other exterior fitting in this catalogue fits: a narrow path you walk close to, a gate reveal, a step riser, a fence line, a carport wall a car door swings against. At 110 mm square and 0.3 kg it reads as part of the wall rather than an object on it.

Three colours chosen to disappear into a garden

Unusually, none of the three is a standard architectural finish:

• Black — recedes at night and against dark render or timber.
• Verde — a green patina, the colour weathered copper and bronze go. Against planting and foliage it disappears almost completely.
• Corten — the rust-orange of weathered steel, which is already the language of contemporary Australian garden design — corten planters, edging and screens.

All three are sand-textured, not gloss, which outdoors is the right call: gloss shows salt, dust and water marks and a textured coat does not.

120 lumens — a marker, used in numbers

The Terin marks a step, a path edge, a gate or a section of wall. It does not light anything. That is correct for what it is: these are used in runs of four, six or eight along a path or facade, and a bright fitting repeated at that spacing glares from the street while a modest one reads as rhythm.

• Fully exposed facades, garden walls, fences and piers — IP65.
• Narrow paths, gate reveals, step risers — only 30 mm out.
• In runs along a path or facade, as rhythm.
• ⚠ 24 V — a driver is required and is not supplied. Tell us how many.
• ⚠ 120 lm marks; it does not light. Use the Tifton where you need to see.

Specifying it

110 by 110 mm, projection 30 mm, 0.3 kg, in aluminium and polycarbonate, sand finish in black, verde or corten. Integrated 3 W LED giving 120 lm at 3000 K, included, not dimmable. 24 V — a DRIVER is required and is NOT supplied (C TR060.24V), Class III — low voltage, under 54 V, IP65 — fully exposed and coastal positions. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
