The Tequo is a 1.5 m LED floor lamp with a smoked glass dome on a slim black frame — 20 W giving 610 lm at 3000 K, with three brightness steps.
⚠ It is not on a dimmer, and you should not buy one for it. Our old page called it “dimmable for effortless mood control”, which reads as though a dimmer is involved. There is none, and fitting one will not work.
What it has is step switching: clicking its own switch moves it 100% → 50% → 20% → back to 100%. ✅ Nothing to buy, nothing to check for compatibility, and it works the moment you plug it in. ⚠ Three levels, and nothing in between.
This is the lamp's whole character, and it is worth being straight about the trade:
The mid-century, space-age shape — a dome on a thin stem — sits with walnut, leather, bouclé and terrazzo, and beside a sofa rather than behind it.
✅ The LED is integrated and included, so there is no globe to buy, nothing to match, and no chance of someone fitting the wrong colour temperature later.
The Tequo is Class III — low voltage, under 54 V, so an external driver sits between the plug and the lamp. Nothing on our page said so.
1,500 mm tall, 4.3 kg — heavy enough at the base to be stable, which matters on a lamp this tall. IP20 — indoor and dry only, CRI above 80, in iron and glass.
⚠ Neither the dome diameter nor the base footprint is recorded in any source, and on a floor lamp those are the two figures that decide whether it fits beside a sofa. Ask us and we will get them from Telbix.
1,500 mm tall, 4.3 kg, lead 2,000 mm beyond the driver; ⚠ dome diameter and base footprint are not recorded — ask us. In iron and smoked glass, black. Integrated 20 W LED giving 610 lm at 3000 K, CRI >80, included, with three brightness steps (100% / 50% / 20%) from its own switch — NOT a dimmer, and do not fit one. 240 V at the plug, Class III — low voltage, external driver, no electrician, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.

No. It plugs into an ordinary socket. It is a Class III low-voltage lamp, so there is an external driver between the plug and the lamp — plan where that box sits, behind a sofa leg or against the skirting. The lead beyond it is 2 metres.
No. The dome throws light down and out from 1.5 metres, which fills a corner warmly rather than putting a bright pool on a page. It is also not a room’s main light — it is a layer beside a ceiling fitting. If you read in that chair, add a directed lamp over the shoulder and ask us which.
The smoked glass. Tinting the dome is what lets you have the lamp in your eye line without glare — lit, it glows amber-grey rather than dazzling, which clear or opal glass cannot do. It absorbs light to do that, so 30 lumens per watt is the price of the look, and the look is the reason to buy it.

At 4.3 kg it is heavy enough at the base to be steady, which matters on a lamp 1.5 metres tall. We do not have the base diameter, so if it is going somewhere with foot traffic, ask us for that figure first.
