Product Description
xTekk recessed LED deck light in 316 stainless steel
The Tekk is a recessed deck and in-ground light with a 316 stainless steel face on an aluminium body. That split construction is deliberate: the face is the part exposed to water, salt, cleaning products and shoes, and 316 is the grade that survives it, while the aluminium body behind does the heat management at lower cost than a solid stainless fitting would.
It is rated IP67 and IK08 — sealed against temporary immersion and rated for the impact a fitting set into a walking surface actually takes. The face measures Ø64mm and the fitting is 93mm deep.
A narrow beam, and what that is for
The Tekk throws a 30° beam, which is unusually tight for a deck light and is the main reason to choose it. A wide-beam deck light washes the surface around itself and is read as a glow; a 30° beam behaves like a small uplight, throwing a defined column up a wall, a column, a screen or a tree trunk from ground level.
That makes placement matter more than it does with a wash fitting. Aimed at nothing in particular a narrow beam is simply a bright dot in the ground; aimed at a surface a metre or two away it produces the effect people actually buy in-ground lights for. Decide what each fitting is pointed at before the cutouts are made.
Colour temperature and dimming
The Tekk is tri-colour: 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, selected on the fitting at installation rather than fixed when it is made. Colour rendering is above 80 CRI. Unlike most low-voltage deck lights it is Triac dimmable, so it can sit on a dimmed circuit — worth knowing where these are used to uplight an entertaining area that needs to change character through an evening.
Power, cutout and installation
The fitting runs on 12V DC and is Class 3, so no earth is required at the fitting itself. A 12V driver is required on the circuit and is not supplied with the light.
The cutout is 50mm. Set out and test-drill before cutting the finished surface, because a recessed fitting cannot be repositioned afterwards. Havit also applies a siting condition to this product: aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of any salt water environment — a warranty term rather than a suggestion, and the usual reason a claim on an exterior fitting is declined. Installation is work for a licensed electrician.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
