The Tarell TL is a 405 mm table lamp in antique gold or gun metal — integrated 6 W giving 530 lm at 3000 K, with a gesture-controlled switch.
You wave at it. Our page was cut off mid-word saying so. It ended at “the intuitive gesture-controlled swit—”.
The Tarell is switched and dimmed by gesture — no button to find in the dark, no cord switch to fish for behind a bedside table. On a bedside lamp that is the most useful thing about it, and it was the one fact the truncation removed.
Because it plugs in, a wall dimmer is not in the circuit: the dimming is on the lamp, in the gesture. Nothing to buy, nothing to wire.
It plugs into a power point. Our page also said it “must be installed by a licensed electrician”. It has 1.8 metres of flex and runs at Class III low voltage — under 54 V. Removed.
88 lm/W — the most efficient decorative fitting measured in this programme so far, and no source remarked on it. For comparison, the Tequo table lamp gives 335 lm from 12 W: the Tarell produces more light on half the power.
The reason is the design. The Tarell's slim profile puts the light out rather than through smoked glass or fabric, so almost all of it reaches the desk. That makes it a genuine task and reading lamp where most decorative table lamps in this catalogue are atmosphere.
405 mm high, 345 mm across, 160 mm base — a reach rather than a shade, which is why it puts light where you want it instead of spreading it everywhere.
On a 160 mm base. That is light, and on a lamp designed to be gestured at it is worth thinking about: gesture control means your hand passes close, and the base has to hold the lamp still while it does.
In practice it is fine on a stable surface, and worth keeping back from the edge of a narrow bedside table. If it is going somewhere with real traffic, ask us about a heavier lamp.
The LED is integrated and included, fixed at 3000 K — nothing to buy, nothing to replace. CRI above 80, in iron, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only.
405 mm high, 345 mm across, base 160 mm, flex 1,800 mm, 1.28 kg, in iron — antique gold or gun metal. Integrated 6 W LED giving 530 lm at 3000 K, included, CRI >80, with a gesture-controlled switch and dimming on the lamp — no dimmer required. Plug-in — no electrician required, Class III — low voltage, under 54 V, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

By gesture — no button to find in the dark, no cord switch to fish for behind a bedside table. Our page was cut off mid-word describing exactly this, at “the intuitive gesture-controlled swit—”. It is the most useful thing about the lamp.
Yes, on the lamp, by gesture. Because it plugs in, a wall dimmer is not in the circuit — so nothing to buy and nothing to wire.
No. It has 1.8 metres of flex and runs at Class III low voltage, under 54 V. Plug it in. Our page said otherwise, which was wrong.
Yes — 530 lumens from 6 watts, which at 88 lm/W is the most efficient decorative fitting measured in this programme so far. The Tequo table lamp gives 335 lumens from 12 W; the Tarell produces more light on half the power, because its slim profile puts light out rather than through smoked glass or fabric.
Antique gold is warm and sits with brass and timber — and the fixed 3000 K is the right colour against it, where cooler light would read green. Gun metal is a dark, slightly warm grey: quieter and more technical, and it disappears against a dark desk.
1.28 kg on a 160 mm base — light, and worth thinking about on a lamp designed to be gestured at, since your hand passes close. Fine on a stable surface; keep it back from the edge of a narrow bedside table.
Neither — the LED is integrated and included, fixed at 3000 K.
