Product Description
xThe Tarell FL is a 1,355 mm LED floor lamp with a gesture-controlled switch in iron and acrylic — 6 W giving 530 lm at 3000 K — in antique gold or gun metal.
It switches by gesture, and our page was cut off before it said so. You wave a hand near the switch rather than touching it. That is the most distinctive thing about this lamp and the reason to choose it: beside a chair or a bed you do not have to find a switch, feel for a cord or press anything — and nothing gets worn, greasy or sticky over years of use. It is a seventh distinct control method in this range, after TRIAC, Bluetooth remote, RF remote, touch, 3-step-by-switch and globe-dependent.
⚠ It is Class III — low voltage — so it needs a driver, and no source we hold mentions one. The old page said an electrician was required, which is wrong for a corded lamp with a 2,000 mm cable — but do not assume it simply plugs in until we have checked. Ask us and we will confirm what ships in the box.
Slim, tall and reaching
1,355 mm tall, 345 mm long across the head, on a 200 mm base. That reach is the shape’s purpose: the head extends out over a chair or a table rather than sitting above the base, so the light lands where you are rather than beside you. Compared with the upright floor lamps in this range, the Tarell is a task and accent lamp rather than a corner glow.
530 lumens, aimed
6 W at 88 lm/W — efficient, and a usable reading output because it is delivered from close range onto a specific spot rather than spread across a room. As a room light it is nothing, which is correct for the shape. CRI above 80, 3000 K fixed, and it dims.
Acrylic in the head — missing from our record
The record lists “Iron” alone. There is acrylic in the fitting too, and it does the work you would expect: it diffuses the LED across the head so you get an even panel rather than a visible strip of diodes. On a lamp you sit under, that is the difference between comfortable light and glare.
Antique gold or gun metal
Both satin, and both quiet. Antique gold is the warm one and suits timber and brass; gun metal is the cool, near-black one that disappears against a dark wall. On a frame this slim the finish is most of what you see.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
