Product Description
xThe Taft PE120 is a 1,200 mm horizontal bar pendant with a rope-like sculptural form, in gun metal matte — integrated LED, 30 W, 886 lm at 3000 K.
This is a decorative fitting, not a working light. 886 lm across 1.2 metres is about 30 lumens per watt — roughly a quarter of what the efficient linear pendants in this range deliver. Buy the Taft for the object; plan other light in the room. If you need to see what you are eating, ask us about the Voluto.
The rope form is the whole product
Rather than an extruded aluminium bar with a diffuser, the Taft is built to look like a rope or braided cord suspended horizontally — iron with silicon and fabric elements. It reads as a textile object that happens to glow, which is a completely different presence from a technical light fitting, and the reason to choose it.
Gun metal matte
Darker and cooler than bronze, warmer than black — a neutral that recedes against most walls while the form does the talking. Matte throughout, so nothing glares off it.
Adjustable cords
Suspended on 2,000 mm adjustable cords, so the height is set at installation. On a 1.2-metre horizontal fitting, getting the drop level matters more than on a small pendant — a few millimetres out at one end shows along the whole length.
A wide canopy
490 × 80 mm — not a small round plate but a long bar spreading the fixing across the ceiling. Check it against a raked or lined ceiling, and against the position of the existing point, before installation day.
It does not dim
Stated plainly: one level only. At 886 lm it is already gentle, so in practice that suits what it is — but there is no way to soften it further.
There is a wall light and a 75 cm pendant
Taft is made as a wall light, this 120 cm bar, and a 75 cm pendant that installs two ways. The same rope form runs through all three, so a matched set genuinely reads as one scheme.

Is it bright enough to light a dining table?
No — 886 lm across 1.2 metres is about a quarter of what the efficient linear pendants here deliver. Buy it for the object and plan other light in the room. Ask us about the Voluto if you need to see what you are eating.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
