Product Description
xThe Soke is a 1,285 mm illuminated rope-form wall piece in gun metal — integrated LED, 24 W for 1,210 lm at 3000 K.
Check the size before anything else. This is listed as a wall light and it is 775 mm wide and 1,285 mm tall — nearly a metre and a third. It is a full-height wall installation, not a bracket beside a door. Its own copy calls it a “hanging fixture”, which is nearer the truth. Measure the wall.
An illuminated rope, hung down a wall
The Soke belongs to the same rope-form family as the Taft pendants — iron with silicon and fabric, built to look like a braided cord rather than a light fitting. Where the Taft hangs horizontally over a table, the Soke runs vertically down a wall, which makes it a piece of wall art that glows rather than a source of light in the usual sense.
Only 1.4 kilograms
Remarkable for something 1.3 metres tall — and it is the fabric and silicon construction that allows it. An ordinary wall fixing will carry it, which a metal piece of the same size would not. It also means it will not damage plasterboard.
1,210 lumens is real light for a decorative piece
At 50 lumens per watt the Soke is markedly more efficient than the Taft pendants in the same family (which manage 22 and 34). Spread down 1.3 metres it is a soft vertical wash rather than a bright point — enough to be the only light in a hallway or a stairwell, which is unusual for something bought as a feature.
Gun metal matte
Darker and cooler than bronze, warmer than black — a neutral that recedes against most walls while the form does the talking. Matte throughout, so nothing glares off it.
3000 K, and it does not dim
Warm white at one level. On a feature this size that is worth knowing: there is no way to turn it down for the evening.
The LED is integrated
Included and sealed, so nothing to buy and nothing to replace — backed by a three-year replacement warranty. The canopy is ø130 mm.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations
