The Skapa PE C is a configurable pendant with opal glass shades and integrated up-and-down LED lighting — 20 W giving 1,960 lm at 3000 K, CRI above 80, TRIAC dimmable.
⚠ It takes two people to install. Tell your electrician before they arrive.
That instruction exists — the datasheet states “2 (two) people are required to install this fitting” — but it was filed in the dimensions field, so it appeared nowhere a customer or an electrician would ever read it. A single electrician arriving to fit this would discover the problem on a ladder.
⚠ It also means we have no dimensions for this product at all: the note occupies the only dimension record there is. Ask us for the size and weight before you order.
The Skapa is described as “fully customisable with one or two glass shades in the shape of your choice”, and no source lists what the shapes are.
So this is a product to buy by talking to us, not by clicking. What we know:
Tell us the room and we will send the shape options and price the combination. That is genuinely the only way to buy this well, and the page did not say so.
The Skapa's LED throws light both upward and downward, which very few pendants in this catalogue do, and it is the reason to choose it:
The practical consequence: the Skapa can be the only light in a room where a downward pendant of the same output could not. At 1,960 lm that is a realistic proposition for a dining room or a study.
⚠ But it needs a ceiling worth washing. Up-lighting works on a white or light ceiling; on a dark or timber one, most of the upward light is absorbed and you have paid for half a fitting. ⚠ And it will show a textured or imperfect ceiling — grazing light is unforgiving.
Opal diffuses completely, so the LED is invisible and the shade glows as a whole surface. On a fitting that is throwing light upward as well as down, that matters: an exposed upward source would be reflected off the ceiling straight back at you.
98 lm/W is very efficient for a fitting with opal glass in front of it — most diffused pendants in this catalogue sit between 30 and 70. It suggests a well-matched LED and diffuser rather than a bright source fighting a dense shade.
TRIAC dimming on an ordinary wall dimmer, full range — which on an up-and-down fitting is worth having twice over: dimmed, the ceiling wash softens first and the fitting settles into being a table light with atmosphere rather than a room light.
Class I — earth required, hard-wired with no lead and plug, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, RCM approved. The LEDs are included and fixed at 3000 K.
⚠ Dimensions and weight are not recorded in any source — ask us before ordering. Configurable with one or two opal glass shades in a choice of shapes — ask us for the options. Integrated 20 W LED giving 1,960 lm at 3000 K, up and down, included, CRI >80, TRIAC dimmable. 240 V, hard-wired with no lead and plug, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, RCM approved. ⚠ TWO PEOPLE are required to install it. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Yes — it takes two people. The instruction exists in the datasheet but was filed in the dimensions field, so it appeared nowhere a customer or electrician would read it. Tell your electrician before they arrive; a single person would discover the problem on a ladder.
No source lists them, which is why this is a product to buy by talking to us rather than by clicking. What we know is that it takes one or two glass shades in a choice of shapes, that this listing is the opal finish, and that the intent is to mix and match across a room. Tell us the room and we will send the shape options and price the combination.
Down gives the working light — a defined pool on a table. Up washes the ceiling, and that is what stops a room feeling like a lit table in a dark box: a downward-only pendant leaves the ceiling black at night and the room feels smaller. The practical consequence is that the Skapa can be the only light in a room where a downward pendant of the same output could not.
It wants a white or light one. On a dark or timber ceiling most of the upward light is absorbed and you have paid for half a fitting — and grazing light is unforgiving on a textured or imperfect ceiling.
No source records it — the only dimension record for this product is occupied by the two-person installation note. Ask us for the size and weight before you order.
Yes — TRIAC, on an ordinary wall dimmer, full range. On an up-and-down fitting that is worth having twice over: dimmed, the ceiling wash softens first and the fitting settles into being a table light with atmosphere rather than a room light.
No — the opal glass diffuses completely, so it glows as a whole surface. That matters more here than on a downward-only fitting, because an exposed upward source would be reflected off the ceiling straight back at you.
