The Skapa AD is a customisable opal-glass pendant throwing light up and down — two shades — shape A (110 mm) with shape D (310 mm).

A strong step — 110 against 310 millimetres

Pairing A with D puts the second-smallest shape against the tallest, a difference of nearly three to one. This is a deliberately dramatic composition: the eye reads two quite different objects hung together, which is the whole argument for a customisable pendant. It wants height and space around it — a stairwell, a void, or a long table seen from a distance.

Two people are required to install this fitting. That is Telbix’s own instruction for the Skapa range and it has never appeared on a product page. Tell your electrician before the day — one person working alone will not be able to finish it.

How the Skapa system works

Four glass shapes, and the letters in the order code are the shades you get:

  • A — 110 mm
  • B — 90 mm (the smallest)
  • C — 250 mm
  • D — 310 mm (the tallest)

One letter is a single-shade pendant; two letters is a pair. This one is AD. Tell us the combination you want and we will build it — other pairings exist beyond those listed.

Up and down from one fitting

Most pendants light downward and leave the ceiling dark. The Skapa does both — a pool below and a wash above — which lifts the whole room, and is why a single one can carry a space that would otherwise need a pendant plus something else.

1,960 lumens from 20 watts

98 lumens per watt — genuinely efficient, and a real working output rather than a decorative glow. CRI >80 at 3000 K. ⚠ Our sources record the same 20 W and 1,960 lm across the whole range, single-shade and paired alike — the light engine appears not to change with the shade count. If output is critical to your calculation, ask us to confirm.

It dims — TRIAC

Leading-edge, the common Australian type. Check compatibility with us if yours is trailing-edge or smart.

The weight varies with your choice

A finished Skapa runs from 1.22 kg to 5.93 kg depending on the shades — nearly a fivefold range. A paired fitting sits toward the heavier end. Mention the weight to your electrician if you are specifying a large combination.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
