Product Description
xSiena is an uplighter, not an up/down fitting — it throws its full 9W output in a single direction, washing the wall above it across a 120° spread. That distinction is the whole point: an up/down light splits its output and draws two symmetrical beams, while an uplighter puts everything into one broad wash. On a feature wall, a column of stone or a render panel you want lit evenly, one direction at full output does the job better than two at half.
Where an uplighter is the right choice
- Feature walls — a wide 120° wash covers the surface without scalloping.
- Under a soffit or eave — light the underside and let it bounce back down.
- Above a bench or alfresco run — indirect light with no glare into the space.
- Indoors — at IP54 it works equally as an interior wall wash.
Specifying it
Runs on 240V AC straight to mains — no driver. Triac dimmable, so it drops onto a standard mains dimming circuit; use a trailing-edge LED dimmer. Tri-colour selectable at 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, roughly 435–470 lm depending on setting, CRI above 80 — high enough that finishes and stonework keep their real colour. Black or white, 220 × 72 × 38 mm, tempered glass, IP54 for sheltered outdoor or indoor use. Licensed electrician.

Questions
What is the difference between an uplighter and an up/down light?
An uplighter sends all its output in one direction; an up/down light splits it into two opposing beams. For an even wash of one surface an uplighter puts more light where you want it. For symmetry either side of a door, choose an up/down.
Does it need a driver or transformer?
No. Siena is 240V AC and wires directly to mains.
Can it be dimmed?
Yes — it is Triac dimmable on a standard mains dimmer. A trailing-edge LED dimmer gives the smoothest low-end control; check the dimmer's minimum load if only one or two fittings are on the circuit.
Can I use it indoors?
Yes. IP54 is above what an interior needs, and it is often used indoors to wash a feature wall or stone chimney breast.
How far from the wall should it be mounted?
Close to the surface. The 120° beam is designed to graze upward from near the wall face — mounting it proud on a plinth pushes the beam away and loses the even wash that makes it work.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
