The HV3657T is the larger Siena — the same slim rectangular up-and-down wall light in poly powder coated aluminium, stretched to 220 mm and stepped up to 2 × 6 W. Two built-in LED emitters wash a soft 120° spread up the wall and down it. Against the 162 mm HV3655T it is the one to choose where the wall is tall, the spacing is wide, or the fitting needs enough visual weight to hold its own beside a double garage door.
Havit prints the output as 2 × 345 lm at 3000K, 2 × 350 lm at 4000K and 2 × 345 lm at 5500K. Those are per direction — what one emitter delivers, produced twice by the fitting. Wattage works the same way: the listing is titled 12 W because that is the total, while the data sheet states 2 × 6 W. Both numbers are correct and they measure different things, so we give the per-emitter draw and the count rather than let one figure imply a single 12 W source.
Two things here run against the usual assumption. First, output peaks in the middle: 4000K gives 350 lm per direction, the most this fitting produces. Second, 3000K and 5500K are the same — 345 lm each. That is not a misprint and it is not a rounding artefact; Havit publishes the identical figure at both ends on both finishes. So on the Siena the colour switch changes how the light looks and not how much of it there is, within five lumens across the whole range. Choose the setting on the tone you want against the wall.
It is tri-colour — 3000K, 4000K or 5500K — on a slide switch located inside the base, and Havit ships it preset to 3000K. Changing it means loosening the allen screws in the side, lifting the body off its base plate and moving the switch, so it is a call made at install rather than adjusted afterwards from the ground.
Havit’s instructions are explicit. Seal every hole, including the cable entry and around the screws; tighten the allen screws fully so water cannot get in; and run silicone around the edge of the fitting. Every o-ring and seal must be correctly seated to maintain the warranty, and modifying the fitting voids it outright. It is rated IP54 behind a frosted glass diffuser with an IK08 impact rating — ratings that assume the installation was sealed properly. Power is 240 V mains with no driver or transformer, and it is Class 1, so an earth is required.
The Siena is aluminium, and Havit states that aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environment — so for a beachside address, ask us for a marine-grade option instead of specifying this. The body measures 220 mm long by 72 mm wide, mounting on a base plate with two Ø4 mm fixings and a Ø13 mm cable entry. No wall projection is published: Havit’s drawing leaves that dimension unlabelled, and the dimensioned drawing on this page is the reliable reference. The fitting is Triac dimmable and Havit lists the HV9625 300 W dial dimmer as its accessory. At Lights For You we keep both Siena lengths in black and white, and we will happily work out spacing with you before anything is ordered.
Per direction. Havit states them as 2 × 345 lm, so each of the two emitters delivers the stated figure and the fitting delivers it twice. We do not publish a bare summed total, because it hides how much light actually reaches the wall in each direction.
Both are right and they count different things. 12 W is the total draw of the fitting; 6 W is what each of the two built-in emitters draws, which is how the Havit data sheet states it. There is no single 12 W emitter inside.
No — that is genuinely what Havit publishes. Both ends measure 345 lm per direction, with 4000K the brightest at 350 lm. Output does not climb with colour temperature on this fitting; it peaks in the middle and the total spread is five lumens.
A slide switch inside the base of the fitting. Loosen the allen screws on the side, lift the body off its base plate, select 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, then reseat it with the seals correctly in place and retighten. It arrives preset to 3000K.
Length and output. This one is 220 mm at 2 × 6 W and up to 350 lm per direction; the HV3655T is 162 mm at 2 × 4.5 W and up to 265 lm. Everything else — IP54, IK08, 120° beam, tri-colour, Triac dimming, 240 V — is shared.
Not within 5 km of salt water. Havit’s installation instructions state that aluminium and 304SS fittings must not be installed within 5 km of any salt water environment, and this fitting is aluminium. Contact us for a marine-grade alternative if the site is near the coast.
We do not publish that measurement. The body is 220 mm long and 72 mm wide, but Havit’s drawing gives its third dimension without a label, and publishing a guessed wall projection is how a wall light ends up being returned. Use the dimensioned drawing in the data sheet on this page.
Havit gives 3 years replacement on items ordered after 01-01-2022. The instructions name two ways to lose it: not sealing the fitting properly — all holes including the cable entry and around the screws, silicone around the edge, and every o-ring and seal correctly seated — and modifying the fitting in any way.
