The Siedel PE05 is a five-light French Provincial pendant in copper — available with fabric shades or bare — five E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, at 430 mm high.

It is the same height as the three-light, and that tells you something useful. The PE03 and PE05 both stand 430 mm, where the six and nine are 500 and the eight is 550.

So at the small end the Siedel widens rather than deepens as lights are added: the five gets its extra two lights across, not down. That makes both small sizes shallow fittings — 430 mm is a modest drop, which suits an ordinary 2.4-metre ceiling and a room where you walk under the fitting rather than only sit beneath it.

Shaded or bare

Both are stocked, and they are different fittings to live with:

  • With fabric shades (3.1 kg) — globes covered, light diffused and glare-free, reading as a traditional French Provincial chandelier. It can hang lower, and the globes need not match.
  • Bare (2.5 kg) — five visible E14 globes on a copper armature: deliberate and more contemporary. ⚠ The globes become the entire appearance, so buy five matched decorative filaments, and hang it well above eye level.

⚠ On a shallow fitting like this one, the bare option needs more care: at 430 mm the globes sit closer to head height than they would on the deeper sizes, so the hanging height matters more. Ask us and we will send images of both.

Five globes, 125 watts of capacity

Five E14 to 25 W each — 125 W total, none supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES. With LED candles at 4 to 6 W the real draw is about 25 W.

Warm 2700 K: against copper, cool white reads green and turns a warm metal muddy.

It dims, with the right globes — the datasheet says globe dependent, and the specification table carried no dimming row at all. With five globes a matched dimmable set is easy. Ask us.

Copper, and French Provincial

Copper is unusual in this catalogue — warmer and pinker than brass, reading as older, and belonging with aged timber, stone, linen and muted paint. Paired with a French Provincial armature it is traditional without being formal.

So: 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, in iron with fabric shades, on a 2,000 mm suspension. ⚠ And no width is recorded anywhere. Ask us before you order.

How deep does it hang?

430 mm — the same as the three-light, and the shallowest in the range along with it. At the small end the Siedel widens rather than deepens as lights are added, so the five gets its extra two lights across rather than down. That makes it suited to an ordinary 2.4-metre ceiling and a room you walk under.

Shaded or bare?

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
