The Siedel PE03 is a three-light French Provincial pendant in copper — available with fabric shades or bare — three E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, at 430 mm high.
The smallest of five, and the one that works in numbers. At three lights, 430 mm deep and 2.2 kg bare, the PE03 is small enough to do something none of its larger siblings can:
⚠ At 2.2 kg bare it is also the only Siedel light enough to fix without much thought — the eight-light shaded is more than twice that.
Both are stocked, and they are different fittings to live with:
⚠ On the three-light, the bare option is the more interesting one, and the easier to get right: with only three globes to buy, a matched set of good filaments is cheap, and the copper armature has enough space around it that the globes read as deliberate rather than exposed. On the eight and nine, bare means buying eight or nine matched globes and hanging them very high.
Ask us and we will send images of both.
Three E14 to 25 W each — 75 W total, none supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES. With LED candles at 4 to 6 W the real draw is about 15 W — so a run of three PE03s draws about 45 W in total.
Warm 2700 K: against copper, cool white reads green and turns a warm metal muddy.
⚠ If you are hanging a run, buy all the globes together, same brand — across two or three fittings seen at one glance, a colour difference is obvious.
It dims, with the right globes — the datasheet says globe dependent, and the specification table carried no dimming row at all. On a small pendant over a breakfast table, dimming is most of what makes it useful morning and evening. Ask us.
Copper is unusual in this catalogue — warmer and pinker than brass, reading as older, and belonging with aged timber, stone, linen and muted paint. Paired with a French Provincial armature it is traditional without being formal — and at three lights that character is more legible than on the large sizes, because you can see the shape of the frame.
⚠ What our page did not tell you. Its specification table was three lines — finish, light count, maximum wattage — with no voltage, no IP rating, no dimensions and no dimming.
So: 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, in iron with fabric shades, on a 2,000 mm suspension. ⚠ And no width is recorded anywhere — which matters most if you are setting out a run. Tell us how many you are hanging and we will work the spacing through.
430 mm high, suspension 2,000 mm, 2.2 kg bare or 2.56 kg shaded; ⚠ width is not recorded — ask us. In iron with fabric shades, copper. Three E14 (SES) globes to 25 W each — 75 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Yes, and it is the only Siedel small enough to. Two or three in a row over a kitchen island or a long bench reads as rhythm, where one large chandelier reads as a lid. Tell us how many you are hanging and we will work the spacing through — the width is not recorded anywhere, and that is what decides it.
Both are stocked, and on the three-light the bare option is the more interesting and the easier to get right: with only three globes to buy, a matched set of good filaments is cheap, and the copper armature has enough space around it that the globes read as deliberate rather than exposed. 2.2 kg bare or 2.56 kg with the shades — the lightest in the range, and the only Siedel light enough to fix without much thought. The eight-light shaded is more than twice that. Our datasheet records the weight as the single string “2.2 or 2.56”, which is why no page ever displayed one.
Three E14 to 25 W each, 75 W total, none supplied — about 15 W in practice with LED candles, so a run of three fittings draws around 45. Warm 2700 K, because cool white against copper reads green, and if you are hanging a run buy all the globes together.
With the right globes — the datasheet says globe dependent and the specification table had no dimming row. On a small pendant over a breakfast table, dimming is most of what makes it useful morning and evening.
Yes — 430 mm is a modest drop, the same as the five-light and the shallowest in the range.
It is unusual here — warmer and pinker than brass and reading as older, belonging with aged timber, stone, linen and muted paint. At three lights the French Provincial character is more legible than on the large sizes, because you can see the shape of the frame.
