Product Description
xThe Shyn WB is a 300 mm bedside wall light with a built-in shelf and a USB-A charging port — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied — in beige, black, grey or white.
It has a shelf and a USB port, and our record mentioned neither. Those are the two reasons to choose this fitting over any other bedside wall light: your phone charges from the light and sits on the light, so the bedside table needs no socket, no adaptor, no cable and no surface. Both appeared once in the old description, which was then cut off mid-word.
Why a shelf on a wall light is the point
A bedside wall light already saves the surface a table lamp would occupy. Adding a shelf gives that surface back — but on the wall, above the bed, where a phone, a book or glasses sit without cluttering anything. Combined with the USB-A port, the result is that a room needs no bedside table at all. That is why the range is aimed at holiday homes and hotel bedsides, and it works exactly as well in a small bedroom or a rental.
300 by 220 mm, projecting 215 mm
The 215 mm projection is what makes the shelf possible, and it is worth planning for: this is a fitting that stands well out from the wall. Above a bed that is right; in a corridor it would be an obstruction. Overall 300 mm high by 220 mm wide, with the fitting itself 270 mm and a 125 mm shade 145 mm deep, at 1.79 kg.
Our record carries no dimensions at all. The figures above come from the old specification table. If you are planning a fit against a bedhead or between two fixed points, the 215 mm projection is the number to work from — and ask us if you need it confirmed.
Four quiet colours
Beige, black, grey or white, all satin. This is a fitting designed to be useful rather than noticed — the finishes reflect that. White disappears above a pale bedhead; black defines it; beige and grey sit between and suit painted or panelled walls.
The globe is yours to choose
One E27 to 25 W, not supplied. Beside a bed that is an argument for a warm 2700 K globe rather than a bright one. Dimming is globe dependent — a dimmable E27 with a wall dimmer will dim it; a plain globe will not. Our record carries no value at all against dimmable.
It is Class I — earth required and hard-wired. A licensed electrician installs it, and on this page that requirement is genuine.

Questions
Does it really have a shelf and a USB port?

Why does a wall light need a shelf?
Because a bedside wall light already saves the surface a table lamp would occupy — the shelf gives that surface back, on the wall above the bed. Combined with the USB port, a room needs no bedside table at all.
How far does it stick out?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
