Product Description
xThe Shelton is a tall, narrow exterior wall light — 630 mm high but only 230 mm wide, in aluminium and glass. That vertical proportion is unusual outdoors and is what makes it work beside a door or on a narrow pier.
Tall and slim reads differently on a wall
Most exterior wall lights are wider than they are tall, which suits a broad elevation. The Shelton does the opposite: it draws a vertical line, so it suits the space between a door and a window, a narrow column, or a run down a boundary wall where you want rhythm rather than mass.
Aluminium, so it will not rust-stain
Aluminium does not corrode the way steel does. Even where the powder coat is chipped, you will not get rust bleeding down render or brick — which is the failure that ruins the look of a light-coloured wall long before the fitting itself stops working.
IP44, so real weather is fine
Rated IP44, it is protected against splashing from any direction. An exposed wall in ordinary rain is well within that. Direct hosing and immersion are not.
Where it works
- Beside entry doors, where the vertical proportion suits the door line.
- Narrow piers and columns.
- Boundary walls, in a run at even centres.
- Modern and minimal frontages where a lantern would look wrong.
Specifying it
630 mm high, 230 mm wide, aluminium and glass, in black or white. One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. Rated IP44, 240 V, and Class I — an earth is required, so a licensed electrician installs it. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. On a run of several, set them all at the same height from the ground rather than from the eave — ground level is what the eye reads.

How big is it?

Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately.
What weather will it take?
IP44 — splashing water from any direction. Ordinary rain on an exposed wall is fine; direct hosing is not.
Will it rust?
No. It is aluminium, so even a chipped finish will not bleed rust stains down the wall.
What finishes are there?
Black or white.
Does it need an electrician?
Yes. It is Class I and requires an earth.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
