The Serda PE184 is a 1,840 mm linear pendant in white — 46 W giving 2,310 lm, with switchable colour temperature and a built-in TOUCH dimmer, on an 1,800 mm suspension.
It dims by touch, and our record said it did not dim at all. The record carried “dimmable: No” against a pendant whose touch sensor is its headline feature — a buyer reading that would have discarded the very thing this fitting is for. The datasheet and the old specification table both say Touch.
⚠ Think about where the sensor ends up. A touch dimmer is excellent on a desk lamp and awkward on a pendant: on a 1,800 mm suspension over a table, you have to reach the fitting to change the level. That is fine over a low bench or a workbench, and impractical over a high dining table. Plan the drop with the sensor in mind, or ask us before you order.
Nearly two metres long, only 50 mm wide and 55 mm deep. That is a line of light, not a fitting with a shade — and at 2,310 lm spread over that length it gives even illumination along a long surface rather than a pool. It is made for a long dining table, a kitchen island or a workbench, and below about two metres of table it will overhang.
4000 K natural and 5000 K cool are agreed by every source. The warm setting is not: the datasheet says 2700 K, our record and the old page say 3000 K. We publish 3000 K and tell you the datasheet disagrees. In practice 2700 K is noticeably warmer — closer to a filament globe — so if the exact warm point matters to you, ask us to confirm.
An unusually specific figure, and a useful one: above the 80 that most linear pendants manage, without the price of a 90-plus fitting. Over a dining table or a work surface that is a sensible place to land.
It is Class I — earth required. Hard-wired to a 65 mm canopy projecting 60 mm. A licensed electrician installs it — correctly stated on this page.
An aluminium extrusion doing the structural and heat-shedding work, with a PVC diffuser along its length — which is what gives the even line rather than a row of visible LEDs.
1,840 mm long, 50 mm wide, 55 mm deep, canopy 65 mm projecting 60 mm, suspension 1,800 mm, in aluminium, iron and PVC. Integrated 46 W LED giving 2,310 lm, included, with switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5000 K (the datasheet says the warm setting is 2700 K), CRI >83, TOUCH dimming. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.

Yes — 2,310 lm spread along nearly two metres gives even illumination across a long surface rather than a pool of light, which is exactly what an island or a workbench wants.
Better colour accuracy than the 80 most linear pendants manage, without the price of a 90-plus fitting. Over a dining table or a work surface that is a sensible place to land.
