Four adjustable heads on a 410 mm plate — the largest Sbarra, and the one specified when a single mounting point has to cover a whole zone. Surface mounted to a ceiling or a wall, wired to 240 V mains, four separate 36° beams that can be sent in four different directions.
Each head has its own built-in LED. Across four 8 W heads the fitting draws 32 W in total and delivers 2,560 lm at 3000K, 2,880 lm at 4000K and 2,720 lm at 5500K — 4 × 640, 4 × 720 and 4 × 680 lm. Publishing the total is the honest way to describe a four-head fitting: a per-head number would make this bar read as no brighter than the single spot that shares its head, which is wrong by a factor of four.
As across the rest of the range, the brightest setting is 4000K — the middle of the switch, not the top of it.
The beam is 36°, per head, and describes how wide each pool of light is. The adjustment is 90° of tilt and 300° of swivel, per head, and describes how far each head can be aimed. With four heads the swivel range is what lets one fitting light two walls and a bench from a single ceiling point, so it is worth planning the aim before the plate goes up.
Open-plan living, a long island bench, a retail fit-out, a studio or a gallery wall. The rating is IP20 — indoor, dry locations only, which rules out bathroom zones, covered outdoor ceilings and anything exposed. Body and heads are powder-coated aluminium with glass lenses, in black or white.
Class 1 — an earth is required — and installation is a licensed electrician’s work under AS/NZS 3000. It is Triac dimmable; Havit names the HV9625 300W LED Dial Dimmer on the data sheet as the compatible accessory, and at 32 W a single dimmer will comfortably carry several of these. The plate measures 410 × 71 mm, and the rest of the outline is a drawing rather than a dimensioned table, so check the drop and the head clearance against your ceiling before ordering. Havit supplies a data sheet and no separate installation booklet for this range, so nothing further attaches to the standard three-year replacement warranty.
Sbarra runs from one head to four on an identical platform, so a four-light bar over the living zone and a single spot in the entry will sit together as one scheme. Talk to Lights For You about head counts if you are lighting an open-plan space from limited fixing points.
No. It wires directly to 240 V AC mains, so there is nothing extra to buy or find room for. It is a Class 1 fitting, which means the circuit must be earthed — that is an electrician’s job under AS/NZS 3000, not a plug-in installation.
No. The LED is built into each head, so there is no lamp base, no globe to source and nothing to change. The trade-off is the usual one for an integrated fitting: at end of life the head is replaced rather than relamped. Havit rates the LED at more than 30,000 hours.
No. It is rated IP20 — indoor, dry locations only. That excludes bathroom zones, covered outdoor areas and anywhere spray or condensation can reach. A weather-rated fitting is the right answer for those positions.
It is Triac dimmable, so a conventional leading-edge wall dimmer controls it. The accessory Havit names on the data sheet is the HV9625 300W LED Dial Dimmer, and we stock it. Our own advice, not the supplier’s: settle the dimmer at quoting stage. LED loads are small, and a dimmer sized for incandescent lamps can behave oddly at the bottom of its range.
4000K. Output peaks in the middle of the TRI Colour switch and eases at both ends, so it does not simply rise as the colour gets cooler — 3000K is the lowest reading, 4000K the highest, 5500K in between. The spread is only about 12% end to end, which the eye does not really read, so choose the colour that suits the room rather than chasing the number.
The HV9625 that Havit names is rated to 300 W of LED load, and this fitting draws 32 W, so on paper several will run from one dimmer. Our advice, not the supplier’s: size the circuit and the dimmer with your electrician rather than from the headline rating, because dimmer behaviour at the very bottom of a lightly loaded range is where problems show up.
