Three adjustable heads on a 306 mm plate. The three-light Sbarra is the version most rooms end up wanting: enough heads to wash a run of wall or cover a working surface, short enough that it does not dominate a ceiling. It surface mounts to a ceiling or a wall and runs on 240 V mains with nothing between it and the switch.
Every head has its own built-in LED, so this is three 8 W heads rather than one shared source. The fitting therefore draws 24 W in total and makes 1,920 lm at 3000K, 2,160 lm at 4000K and 2,040 lm at 5500K — 3 × 640, 3 × 720 and 3 × 680 lm. Those are the numbers that describe the fitting you receive. A single head’s figure describes a third of it, which is useful for planning where the light lands and useless for comparing one fitting against another.
Note where the maximum sits: output peaks at 4000K, in the middle of the TRI Colour switch, not at the cool end.
The beam is 36° — a tight accent beam from each head. The adjustment is 90° of tilt and 300° of swivel per head, describing how far each head can be turned in its socket rather than how wide the light spreads. Three heads through 300° of swivel will reach a surprising amount of a room from one point.
Along a hallway of pictures, over a kitchen bench, across shelving, or angled at a feature wall in a living room. It is IP20 — indoor and dry only. Bathrooms, alfresco ceilings and anywhere that catches weather need a rated fitting instead. The plate and heads are powder-coated aluminium with glass lenses, offered in black or white.
It is Class 1, so an earth is required, and a licensed electrician installs it under AS/NZS 3000. It is Triac dimmable, with the HV9625 300W LED Dial Dimmer named on Havit’s data sheet as the compatible accessory. The plate is 306 × 71 mm. The remaining dimensions appear only as an outline drawing, so check that against the space — particularly the drop below the ceiling, which is what a head has to clear when it tilts. Havit publishes a data sheet and no separate installation booklet for the Sbarra, so no extra install conditions attach to it.
Because all four Sbarra sizes share one head, a three-light bar over a bench and a single spot over a sideboard in the same room will match exactly. That is the sort of detail the team at Lights For You is happy to work through with you before you order.
No. It wires directly to 240 V AC mains, so there is nothing extra to buy or find room for. It is a Class 1 fitting, which means the circuit must be earthed — that is an electrician’s job under AS/NZS 3000, not a plug-in installation.
No. The LED is built into each head, so there is no lamp base, no globe to source and nothing to change. The trade-off is the usual one for an integrated fitting: at end of life the head is replaced rather than relamped. Havit rates the LED at more than 30,000 hours.
No. It is rated IP20 — indoor, dry locations only. That excludes bathroom zones, covered outdoor areas and anywhere spray or condensation can reach. A weather-rated fitting is the right answer for those positions.
It is Triac dimmable, so a conventional leading-edge wall dimmer controls it. The accessory Havit names on the data sheet is the HV9625 300W LED Dial Dimmer, and we stock it. Our own advice, not the supplier’s: settle the dimmer at quoting stage. LED loads are small, and a dimmer sized for incandescent lamps can behave oddly at the bottom of its range.
4000K. Output peaks in the middle of the TRI Colour switch and eases at both ends, so it does not simply rise as the colour gets cooler — 3000K is the lowest reading, 4000K the highest, 5500K in between. The spread is only about 12% end to end, which the eye does not really read, so choose the colour that suits the room rather than chasing the number.
For a standard 2.4–3 m bench, generally yes as accent and task light — 2,160 lm at 4000K, split across three aimable 36° heads, puts usable light where you point it. It is not a substitute for general room lighting, because a 36° beam is deliberately narrow. Think of it as three controllable pools rather than an even wash.
