The Satrom is a 1.3 m LED floor lamp on a marble base — black with green marble, or antique brass with white marble — 6 W giving 420 lm at 3000 K, with touch dimming.
✅ It dims, by touch, and our page never mentioned dimming at all. You touch the lamp to change the level — no dimmer to buy, no compatibility to check, and you adjust it from where you are sitting. On a lamp whose whole purpose is atmosphere, that is the feature that makes it worth having, and it was invisible.
Marble bases are common; green marble is not. Almost every stone-based lamp in this catalogue is white or black, and the two Satrom versions are genuinely different propositions:
⚠ Marble is porous. Wipe spills promptly — wine, coffee and oil mark it — and use a soft dry cloth rather than a household spray, which can etch a polished surface.
Class III — low voltage, under 54 V, so an external driver sits between the plug and the lamp. Nothing on our page said so.
⚠ No weight is recorded in any source — and on a 1,300 mm lamp with a marble base, weight is the stability question. What we do have is the base: 321 × 110 mm, which is a narrow footprint for that height. Marble is dense, so it is very probably heavy enough — but we will not tell you it is stable on an assumption. ⚠ If it is going anywhere with children, pets or foot traffic, ask us for the weight first and we will get it from Telbix.
1,300 mm tall, base 321 × 110 mm, lead 2,000 mm beyond the driver; ⚠ no weight is recorded in any source — ask us before putting it where it can be knocked. In marble and iron — black with green marble, or antique brass with white marble. Integrated 6 W LED giving 420 lm at 3000 K, CRI >80, included, with TOUCH dimming on the lamp itself. 240 V at the plug, Class III — low voltage, external driver, no electrician, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Yes — by touch, on the lamp itself. Our old page never mentioned dimming at all, which on a lamp whose whole purpose is atmosphere is the feature that makes it worth having. No dimmer to buy, no compatibility to check, and you adjust it from where you are sitting.
No. It plugs into an ordinary socket. It is a Class III low-voltage lamp, so there is an external driver between the plug and the lamp — worth planning where that box sits. The lead beyond it is 2 metres.
We will not tell you it is on an assumption. No weight is recorded in any source, and on a 1.3-metre lamp with a marble base weight is the stability question. What we do have is the base — 321 by 110 mm, a narrow footprint for that height. Marble is dense so it is very probably heavy enough, but if it is going anywhere with children, pets or foot traffic, ask us for the weight first and we will get it from Telbix.
No. 420 lumens from 1.3 metres fills a corner warmly but does not put a working pool of light on a page, and it is not a room’s main light either. If you read in that chair, ask us about a directed lamp instead.
Very little — 6 watts for 420 lumens, which is 70 lumens per watt and better than most of the decorative floor lamps around it. It costs almost nothing to leave on all evening.
The green is the unusual one — almost every stone-based lamp in this catalogue is white or black. Deep green against black metal reads art-deco and is a colour in a room rather than a neutral, sitting with dark timber, brass, olive and navy. The antique brass and white marble version is quieter and more classical, and disappears more politely into a soft neutral room.
It is porous, so wipe spills promptly — wine, coffee and oil will mark it — and use a soft dry cloth rather than a household spray, which can etch a polished surface.
