Satrom LED Floor Lamp

The Satrom is a 1.3 m LED floor lamp on a marble base — black with green marble, or antique brass with white marble — 6 W giving 420 lm at 3000 K, with touch dimming.

Green marble — the reason to look at this one

Marble bases are common; green marble is not. Almost every stone-based lamp in this catalogue is white or black, and the two Satrom versions are genuinely different propositions:

• Black with green marble — the unusual one. Deep green stone against black metal reads art-deco, and it is a colour in a room rather than a neutral. It sits with dark timber, brass hardware, olive and navy, and it will be the thing people notice.
• Antique brass with white marble — the quieter, more classical version. Warm metal against pale stone, and it disappears more politely into a soft or neutral room.

⚠ Marble is porous. Wipe spills promptly — wine, coffee and oil mark it — and use a soft dry cloth rather than a household spray, which can etch a polished surface.

420 lumens — be clear about what this is

• ✅ An atmosphere lamp: a soft warm presence in a corner, beside a chair or behind a sofa, and something you can touch down to almost nothing late in the evening.
• ⚠ It is not a reading lamp and not a room's main light. 420 lm from 1.3 m fills a corner; it does not put a working pool of light on a page. If you read in that chair, ask us about a directed lamp instead.
• ✅ At 6 W for 420 lm — 70 lm/W it is efficient for a decorative lamp, better than most of the floor lamps around it, and it costs almost nothing to leave on all evening.
• ✅ The LED is integrated and included — no globe to buy, nothing to match, and no chance of the colour temperature drifting when someone replaces it.

It plugs in, and there is a box on the cord

Class III — low voltage, under 54 V, so an external driver sits between the plug and the lamp. Nothing on our page said so.

• ✅ No electrician. It plugs into an ordinary socket, and the low-voltage lead is safer than a mains flex if it is ever caught under a castor.
• ⚠ Plan where the driver box sits. The lead beyond it is 2 m, which is generous.

Where it works

• Living-room corners, beside a chair or behind a sofa.
• Bedrooms — touch dimming is what you want at 11 pm.
• Art-deco, classical and contemporary rooms — green with dark timber and brass; white with soft neutrals.
• ⚠ Not a reading lamp, and not a room's main light.
• ⚠ Ask us for the weight before putting it where it can be knocked.

1,300 mm tall, base 321 × 110 mm, lead 2,000 mm beyond the driver; ⚠ no weight is recorded in any source — ask us before putting it where it can be knocked. In marble and iron — black with green marble, or antique brass with white marble. Integrated 6 W LED giving 420 lm at 3000 K, CRI >80, included, with TOUCH dimming on the lamp itself. 240 V at the plug, Class III — low voltage, external driver, no electrician, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
