Product Description
xThe Satillo TL is a 480 mm table lamp with an ivory fabric shade on a satin base with gold accents — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied — in black, grey or white.
The colour you choose is the base, not the shade. All three — black, grey and white — carry the same ivory shade. So the lamp always gives the same warm light; what changes is how much the base shows. Black is a strong stem under a pale shade, white almost disappears, grey sits between.
280 mm of shade on a 115 mm base
That is a wide shade on a narrow stem — a classic proportion, and it is why the lamp reads as elegant rather than solid. The shade is 280 mm wide by 180 mm high, so light comes out and down across a good width: enough for a bedside book, enough for a desk.
Gold accents against satin
The metal is satin, not gloss, with gold detailing. Satin matters on a bedside lamp — a gloss stem catches the light from its own shade and makes a bright line right where you are looking. Satin does not.
You almost certainly do not need an electrician. It is Class II — double insulated — on an 1,800 mm cable. The old page carried an electrician requirement that belongs to hard-wired fittings.
Dimming depends on the globe
Fit a dimmable E27 and use a plug-in or inline dimmer and it dims; a plain globe will not. Our record carries no value at all against dimmable. On a bedside lamp this is worth doing — through an ivory shade a dimmed globe is genuinely soft.

Questions
Does the shade change with the colour?
No — all three colourways carry the same ivory shade. The colour you choose is the base. Black is a strong stem under a pale shade, white almost disappears, grey sits between.
Do I need an electrician?

Can I dim it?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
