Product Description
xThe Samona PE06 is a six-light pendant in antique gold with textured glass shades — six E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, 550 mm wide by 310 mm high, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
This is the widest Samona pendant, and the one for a long table. At 550 mm across and only 310 mm high, it is broad and low — six shades spread along a single level.
That proportion is what suits a rectangular dining table. Six sources spread over more than half a metre light the length of a table evenly rather than pooling in the middle, and the low profile keeps it out of the sightline between people sitting opposite each other — which a taller fitting does not.
⚠ Note that the eight-light is narrower (420 mm) and 160 mm taller. The three and six share the same 310 mm height, which is what a single tier looks like; the eight is very likely two tiers. We have asked Telbix to confirm. They are different objects, not two sizes of one — ask us before choosing between them.
Six globes — and the textured glass makes it easy
Six E14 to 25 W each — 150 W total, not supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES — a candle or golf-ball globe.
The textured glass breaks up the source rather than displaying it, so the six globes need not match visually. What they do need:
- Warm 2700 K — against antique gold, cool white reads green.
- A compact shape: textured glass partly reveals, so a large decorative globe shows as a shadow.
- The same brand for all six if you intend to dim.
It dims, with the right globes — our record says “No”, the datasheet and page both say globe dependent, and they are right. Over a dining table that is worth having, and six LEDs on one dimmer wants a matched set. Ask us.
150 watts of capacity, and what it really draws
150 W is the maximum, from when six globes meant six incandescent lamps. With LED E14s at 4 to 6 W, the real draw is about 30 W — a fifth of the rating — for comparable light. The fitting runs cool and you are nowhere near its limit.
⚠ No weight is recorded for a 550 mm six-light iron and glass pendant, and none for the three or the eight either. Hanging on two metres of suspension, that is the figure your electrician needs before the ceiling is opened. Ask us.
Textured glass — the character of the range
The glass carries moulded relief, so each shade catches light across its own surface and the globe is softened and broken up rather than hidden or exposed. That is what the range copy means by “modern yet subtly artisanal”: clean shapes with a tactile surface, so the fitting reads as made rather than manufactured — and it is why the Samona sits comfortably in both contemporary and transitional rooms, which few decorative pendants manage.
An unusually complete range. Samona is made as a batten fix, a wall light, and pendants in three, six and eight — all in the same textured glass and antique gold. A whole floor can carry one language: the batten fix in the hall, the wall lights on a landing, this over the table.

Which Samona pendant suits a long dining table?

Why is the eight-light narrower than this?
Almost certainly because its shades are in two tiers rather than one. The three and six share the same 310 mm height, which is what a single tier looks like; the eight is 470 mm tall and 420 wide. We have asked Telbix to confirm — they are different objects, not two sizes of one.
What globes do I need?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
