The Samona PE03 is a three-light pendant in antique gold with textured glass shades — three E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, 310 mm wide by 310 mm high, on a 2,000 mm suspension.
The compact one — and a genuinely useful size. At 310 mm square the Samona PE03 is small enough for places the six and eight-light versions overwhelm:
Three E14 to 25 W each — 75 W total, not supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES. With LED E14s at 4 to 6 W the real draw is about 15 W, so the fitting runs cool and sits well within its rating.
The textured glass breaks up the source, so the three globes need not match visually. What they need:
It dims, with the right globes. Our record says “No”; the datasheet and page both say globe dependent, and they are right. On a small pendant over a breakfast table, dimming is most of what makes it useful morning and evening. Ask us for a matched set of three.
310 by 310 mm — as tall as it is wide, which makes the PE03 a compact, self-contained form rather than a spreading one. It reads as an object, and that is why it works alone in an entry where a wide fitting needs a table under it to make sense.
Its height is worth one technical note: the PE03 and the PE06 share exactly the same 310 mm height, which is what tells you both hang their shades in a single tier — where the eight-light is 470 mm tall and very likely two.
⚠ No weight is recorded for any of the three Samona pendants. On the smallest it matters least, but on a two-metre suspension your electrician still needs the figure. Ask us.
The glass carries moulded relief, so each shade catches light across its own surface and the globe is softened and broken up rather than hidden or exposed. That is the “modern yet subtly artisanal” quality the range is built on: clean shapes with a tactile surface, so the fitting reads as made rather than manufactured. On a small fitting seen close up — over a breakfast table, in an entry — that surface detail matters more than it does on a large one across a room.
An unusually complete range. Samona is made as a batten fix, a wall light, and pendants in three, six and eight, all in the same textured glass and antique gold. Class I — earth required, canopy 120 mm, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only, in iron and glass.

A small dining table or breakfast nook where a 550 mm fitting would dominate; an entry or hallway end as a single considered piece; a pair over a kitchen island, which reads better along a bench than one six-light; or a stairwell landing where the two-metre suspension can be let out.
Three E14 — the small screw base — to 25 W each, 75 W total, none supplied. With LED E14s at 4 to 6 watts the real draw is about 15 W. Use warm 2700 K in a compact shape: against antique gold, cool white reads green.
With the right globes. Our record says “No”; the datasheet and page both say globe dependent, and they are right. On a small pendant over a breakfast table, dimming is most of what makes it useful morning and evening — and on three globes a matched set is easy.
For a long rectangular table, yes — use the six-light, which spreads 550 mm. For a small table or a breakfast nook this is the right proportion.
It carries moulded relief, so each shade catches light across its own surface and the globe is softened and broken up rather than hidden or exposed. On a small fitting seen close up, that surface detail matters more than it does on a large one across a room.
