Product Description
xThe Samona PE14 is a fourteen-light pendant in antique gold with textured glass shades — fourteen E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, at 600 mm high on a 2,000 mm suspension.
⚠ Our page told you the finish and the number of lights, and nothing else. Its entire specification table was two lines. Everything below — the voltage, the wattage, the IP rating, the material, the dimming — comes from the datasheet and is published here for the first time.
⚠ Two figures we still cannot give you, because no source holds them: how wide it is and what it weighs. On a fourteen-light pendant those are the two that decide whether you can hang it at all. Ask us before you order — and treat the fixing as structural until we have the number.
The largest Samona — and it is a deep one

The three and six share a 310 mm height — a single tier. The eight is 470 mm and this fourteen is 600 mm, so the large sizes clearly stack rather than spread.
At 600 mm plus a two-metre suspension, this is a stairwell, void or double-height fitting, not a dining-table one on an ordinary ceiling — and it is a vertical composition, seen from the side as much as from below.
Fourteen globes, 350 watts of capacity
Fourteen E14 to 25 W each — 350 W total, none supplied. E14 is the small screw base, SES. With LED candles at 4 to 6 W the real draw is around 70 W — a fifth of the rating, which on fourteen enclosed glass shades matters for heat as much as cost.
Because the textured glass breaks up the source rather than displaying it, the fourteen globes need not match visually — which on a fourteen-globe fitting saves real money. What they do need:
- Warm 2700 K — against antique gold, cool white reads green.
- A compact shape: textured glass partly reveals, so a large decorative globe shows as a shadow.
- The same brand for all fourteen if you intend to dim.
It dims, with the right globes — the datasheet says globe dependent, and the specification table carried no dimming row at all. ⚠ Fourteen LEDs on one dimmer is among the hardest flicker cases in this catalogue. Ask us for a matched set of fourteen.
Textured glass — the character of the range
The glass carries moulded relief, so each shade catches light across its own surface and the globe inside is softened and broken up rather than hidden or exposed. That is what makes the Samona read as made rather than manufactured — and on a fourteen-light fitting seen from below in a stairwell, fourteen individually textured shades give a far more interesting surface than fourteen plain ones would.
Part of an unusually complete range. Samona is made as a batten fix, a wall light, and pendants in three, six, eight and fourteen lights, all in the same textured glass and antique gold. So a stairwell can carry this fourteen with Samona wall lights up the wall beside it, and a hall the batten fix — all one decision.

Will it suit an ordinary ceiling?
No. At 600 mm deep plus a two-metre suspension this is a stairwell, void or double-height fitting — and a vertical composition, seen from the side as much as from below. The three and six-light Samonas are 310 mm deep and are the ones for a dining table on a normal ceiling.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
