Product Description
xThe Sagero is a 1,550 mm sculptural LED floor lamp in nickel, with a twisted mid-section and a ribbed white diffuser — 24 W giving 1,736 lm at 4000 K, CRI above 80.
It plugs into a power point. Our page said it “must be installed by a licensed electrician”. It has 2 metres of flex and runs at low voltage internally — unpack it and plug it in. Removed.
⚠ Read this before you buy it: 1,736 lumens, 4000 K, and no dimming. Those three together make the Sagero a very different lamp from most floor lamps, and nothing said so.
- 1,736 lm is three times what a typical floor lamp here gives — the Sisby gives 575. This is a room light, not a corner glow.
- 4000 K is neutral white, not warm — the colour of a kitchen or an office. Most floor lamps here are 3000 K.
- It does not dim, so it is on or off at full.
Excellent in a study, home office, craft area or a reading corner you actually work in. Wrong beside a sofa in the evening. Ask us and we will point you at a warm dimmable alternative.
The twisted column and the ribbed diffuser
Two shaping decisions, and they work together. The twisted mid-section gives the column a turn that catches light along its own length, so the lamp reads as a sculptural object rather than a pole even by day. The ribbed white diffuser then breaks the emitted light into soft vertical bands, so the lit surface has structure rather than being a flat glowing tube.
Both are why the Sagero can carry a bright, neutral, undimmed output without looking like a work light: the form does the softening that the light does not.
⚠ Its specification is identical to the Cholla floor lamp — every figure. Same 1,550 mm height, same 24 W, same 1,736 lm, same 4000 K, same CRI, same iron and ABS, same 190 mm base, same 2 m cable, both undimmable.
The likeliest explanation is that the two are the same LED platform in two sculptural forms — the Cholla a wave with vertical ridges, the Sagero a twisted column with a ribbed diffuser. If so, the choice between them is purely which shape you want, and the light will be identical. We have asked Telbix to confirm, because the alternative is that one of the two is carrying the other's datasheet.
1.55 metres on a 190 mm base
A small footprint, which is what lets it slip beside a desk or a chair without taking floor space.
⚠ No weight is recorded anywhere. On a 1.55-metre lamp with a 190 mm base, the weight is the stability, and the figure is in no source — exactly as on the Cholla. Ask us before putting it somewhere a child, a dog or a chair leg goes past.
72 lumens per watt
Well above most decorative fittings in this catalogue, which sit between 40 and 55 — because the Sagero does not diffuse its output through fabric or tinted glass. You are getting a working amount of light for a floor lamp's power draw.
The LED is integrated and included — nothing to buy, nothing to replace, and equally nothing to change: the 4000 K is fixed. IP20 — indoor and dry locations only.

Is it suitable for a living room?
Probably not in the evening. At 1,736 lm, 4000 K and no dimming it is bright, neutral-white and on-or-off — the colour of a kitchen or an office. Excellent in a study, home office, craft area or a reading corner you actually work in. Ask us for a warm dimmable alternative.
How does it compare to the Cholla?
Every specification figure is identical — height, wattage, lumens, colour, CRI, materials, base, cable, and both undimmable. For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
