xThe Rush is a set of three 24 V exterior post spike lights in black — staggered heights of 121, 146 and 171 mm, each 1 W giving 68 lm at 3000 K, CRI above 95, IP65.
⚠ A note before anything else: this is a set of THREE. The title, the description and the three listed heights all say three. The web address for this page says “set-of-4”, which is wrong — if you arrived here from a link or a search result expecting four fittings, you are buying three. We have flagged the address for correction. If you need four or more, ask us — they are used in numbers and we can quote whatever the bed needs.
CRI above 95 — the highest figure in this catalogue, and nobody mentioned it
Most fittings here record >80. A good one records >90. The Rush records >95, which is the highest colour rendering recorded on any Telbix product we have reviewed.
In a garden that is the specification that matters most, because foliage is the hardest thing to light:
- Under a low-CRI source, leaves go grey-olive — the single commonest reason garden lighting looks cheap and lifeless.
- At >95, greens stay green, bark and stone keep their warmth, and flowering plants hold their colour.
It is a strange and welcome thing to find on a 1-watt fitting: the Rush puts very little light onto a plant, but what it puts there is of the highest quality in the range.
Three staggered heights — and that is the design
121, 146 and 171 mm. The set is deliberately uneven, and it is worth understanding why, because it is the difference between the Rush and any three identical spike lights:
- A row of identical fittings reads as a row of fittings — regular, and obviously installed.
- Three different heights read as planting. The light lands at three levels, so a bed gets depth rather than a flat line, and the eye reads a composition instead of a grid.
- Practically, it lets you light three tiers of a bed — groundcover, a low shrub, and something taller — from one small set.
They are also short. At 121 to 171 mm these sit low, among the plants, where the Scape spike stands 755 mm above them. Two different jobs: the Scape looks down onto a bed, the Rush glows from within it.
68 lumens each — and why that is right
1 W, 68 lm. That is very little light by any measure, and it is correct for the job. A fitting sitting inside a garden bed at ankle height is directly in your sightline from a window or a path — anything brighter reads as a glare source in the dark rather than a lit plant.
All three together draw 3 watts. You can run a great many of them.
⚠ They run on 24 volts, and the driver is a separate purchase. This set does not connect to mains power on its own. You need a 24 V driver, and the page does not name a compatible one.
One driver runs many fittings — which is exactly why low voltage is used in gardens: one transformer, one circuit, and no mains cable in a garden bed. At 1 W each, a single modest driver will run a great many Rush sets. Tell us how many sets you are installing and we will size and supply the driver — and note the Scape and Terin ranges share the same 24 V system, so they can all run off one.
IP65, and 1 metre of cable each
Protection against water jets from any direction — which is what a fitting sitting in a garden bed needs: rain from every angle, sprinklers and the hose.
The spike is the practical advantage. No digging, no concrete, no fixed position — each pushes into a bed and can be moved as the planting grows in, which over two or three seasons matters more than it sounds. The 1-metre cable on each gives real room to reposition without re-running anything.
⚠ A note on our data. Our record carries only one of the three heights (121 mm), and the datasheet's height cell reads “150 max” — a phrase in a numeric field. The three heights on this page — 121, 146 and 171 mm — come from the description and the specification table, which agree with each other.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
