Product Description
xThe Rosner TL is a 560 mm table lamp with an adjustable head in sand-finished iron with gold detailing — one GU10 lamp to 6 W, not supplied — in black or white.
The head moves, which makes it a task lamp
This is the difference between the Rosner and an ordinary table lamp. The 150 mm shade adjusts, so light goes where you point it — onto a page, along a wall, down onto a desk. A fixed shade gives you a pool in one place and that is all. On a 170 mm base at 1.75 kg it stays put while you move the head, which a lighter lamp would not.
GU10, not E27 — and that is deliberate
A GU10 to 6 W is a directional lamp: it throws a beam rather than glowing in all directions. In an adjustable head that is exactly right — a beam you can aim is useful, a glow you can aim is not. It also means the lamp is small and cool enough to sit inside a 150 mm shade.
The lamp is not included. One GU10 to 6 W, your choice — and that choice sets the beam. A narrow beam gives a tight reading pool; a wide one lights a corner. Worth deciding before you buy.
You almost certainly do not need an electrician. It is Class II — double insulated — on an 1,800 mm cable. The old page carried an electrician requirement that belongs to hard-wired fittings.
Sand finish with gold on the head
Black or white in a sand texture, with a hint of gold on the adjustable head. The gold sits where your eye goes — on the part that moves — which is a better use of a metallic accent than a gold base would be.

Questions
Does the head adjust?
Yes — the 150 mm shade moves, so light goes where you point it: onto a page, along a wall, down onto a desk. That is the difference between this and an ordinary table lamp.
Why GU10 rather than E27?

Will it tip when I move the head?
It should not — 1.75 kg on a 170 mm base. A lighter lamp with an adjustable head is a nuisance; this one is weighted for it.
Can I dim it?
It depends on the lamp. A dimmable GU10 with a plug-in or inline dimmer will dim; a plain one will not. Our record carries no value at all against dimmable, so the honest answer is globe dependent.
What colours are there?
Black or white in a sand texture, both with a hint of gold on the adjustable head — the accent sits on the part your eye follows.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
