Roseus LED Floor Lamp 14w Black

The Roseus is a 1,300 mm flamingo-shaped LED floor lamp with a remote control offering over 500 colours and scene effects.

There is nothing else like it in this range

Every other Telbix floor lamp is a shade on a stem. The Roseus is a sculptural flamingo in aluminium that happens to light up — bought as an object first and a lamp second. If that is what you want, this is the only one; if it is not, nothing else here will feel like a compromise.

500+ colours, by remote

The remote is included and drives the full colour range plus scene effects. That puts it in a different category from the rest of the catalogue: it is a mood and party lamp, not a reading light. Children's rooms, teenagers' rooms, games rooms and bars are where it earns its place.

14 W, and the output is not stated

Worth being straight about: no lumen figure is recorded in any of our sources. At 14 W a colour-changing LED will not light a room the way a 25 W white lamp does — colour LEDs give up a great deal of brightness to produce colour. Buy it for the effect, not the illumination, and ask us if you need the white-light output confirmed.

A foot switch as well as the remote

The 2 m cable carries a foot switch about 500 mm from the base, so it can be turned on without hunting for the remote — which, on a lamp in a child's room, matters.

Aluminium and iron, on a ø250 mm base

1,300 mm tall and 360 mm wide. It plugs in — no electrician.

Where it works

• Children's and teenagers' rooms.
• Games rooms, home bars and media rooms.
• Anywhere a lamp is meant to be a talking point.
• As a colour wash beside a plain white light source.
